Mighty applause and accolades go out to Ben Nicolas for his captivating writing which graces his "15 Minute" blog today.

Your recapitulating of your experiences in Rio de janeiro during this year's Carnaval kept me wanting for more.

What you reported and the manner in which you cited it made for a most invigorating and exhilarating read! Keep up the very fine work, young man. cutie! :9

And as they say in Brasilian Portuguese, Muito Obrigado!

(Translated: Many Thanks!)

Thanks Axiom. It was late when i wrote it and was wondering if i had forgotten anything this morning when i woke up :)

It was a nice way for me to relive a little of Carnaval and at the same time gather my thoughts on all that happened. I appreciate your eyes on the blog, along with the compliments. I hope to include more play-by-play travelogues like this last on in future editions of '15 Minutes.'

Warmest,

I thought it was just OK...in my opinion, last week's post -- the one where Benjamin plugged the new Rick Munroe blog -- was far superior. Oh well, I guess they can't all be winners each week. :p

Seriously, though: the pic and story of Naomi's fried hair was really funny. :7

Yes, since I'm planning a trip to Rio Benjamin's comments about the Copacabana Palace and restaurants were helpful He writes well and is entertaining (sweating like Delta Burke at Krispy Kreme -- that's a good one.)

Now to be school marmish, Ben, your Spanish might be fluent, but your French needs help. It's "panache" not "pinasche" (see Cyrano de Bergerac) and "Merde!" not "Merd" (see, well, just about anything in French). Oh, and if you'd like French lessons, Ben, I'm available for any kind of French you want to learn.

I must agree. Great Blog. Not only do I enjoy the stories and the writing style, I really appreciate the pics. It must take some time to get the flow of the story to match up with the pics.

BN, IMHO you have really developed an expressive thoughtful writing style and become skillful in telling a story. Your early blogs were interesting, but I think the latest one on Rio is my favorite.

Thanks for sharing your experience in an interesting and revealing way. Can't wait for your next adventure.

I could use a brush-up on my Frenching... Right between my cheeks, with just the right amount of pressure. Oooo, that's the spot. :o

Next week look for the scoop on Rick Munroe's apple-tight ass turning heads at a local NYC 'Leslie Gore CD-swap.' The headlines are still churning around in my naughty mind.

>Rick Munroe's apple-tight ass

It's tight for sure, but I've been told it's more of a fuzzy ripe peach. }(

LOL I don't know about Lesley Gore...you might have better luck finding me at Al Gore's next MoveOn.org speech. But look for me anyway -- I'm always up for giving French lessons. :9

I agree.

"Five stars!"

"Two thumbs up!"

"I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me!"
