Such a complicated issue. Escorts are frequently not honest about their sexual orientation on RM. I remember one frequent escort poster from this forum asking this question several years ago: How should I identify my orientation on RB in order to get the most number of customers? Should I select Gay, Bi, or Straight?

How about trying honesty dude? Identify your sexuality as it actually is? Novel idea for him apparently.

Anyway, I'm not sure if most escorts on RM can be trusted being honest with the sexual orientation they select. Something like 30% of RM escorts identify as bisexual. That number is obviously absurdly high. I think many escorts that are actually gay, classify themselves on RM as bisexual in order to seem more exotic or to try and present a more masculine image.

It doesn't seem high to me at all. There are definitely more bi guys than gay guys. And I could see someone who was bi or straight choosing to compartmentalize his sex work that way - paid sex with men only, relationships with women. You go to any go-go bar and more than half the dancers are straight - they just learned that women are unaccustomed to paying for it and are shitty tippers.

As for the OP, the usual way it goes with the straight/bi escorts is that they take a few sessions to warm up to you as they develop a comfort level. I've definitely seen a few times where the first session was kind of a dud but later ones got better.

As for someone who was very friendly/engaged right off the bat, I'd recommend Derek Atlas in Las Vegas. Straight vibe talking to him but he's definitely bi and if he's not actually enthusiastic then he's a hell of an actor.

Re ^^

A nice distillation/rebuttal IMO, Sniper.

Most anyone paying attention to some of my recent posts knows I recently saw a super popular 'scort with a straight rep and I think you've likely described his MO well. A nice experience that I'll def be repeating/lengthening.

And what you say about dancers at bars certainly applies to many of my experiences with my Adonis Lounge co-workers.

I don't doubt for a minute that some of the guys who self identify and straight might play really well with gay clients. But frankly I DON'T want to go to the trouble to find out if they do or they don't. I know what I am -- I am a 100% faggot and I want to play with guys who self identify as the same. I usually even try to avoid bi guys unless they are so smoking hot that I get an instant hard on just looking at their photographs. I would certainly agree regarding this matter - each to his own.

I think it's a mixed bag. The gay guys sometimes are actually less suited to the biz because some of them only want to do it with people they are attracted to. The straight(er) ones I think are more likely to view it as a job and be a little professional about it(though there are certainly ones who are simply ripoff artists, that's a risk with anyone). It all boils down to how willingly they are doing the work, and that's not strictly correlated with orientation.

When I visited Sydney I contacted a guy who advertised in the backpage offering massage. He is straight and very hot. He was okay to be fellated by a guy but that he wouldn't cum. That is as far as he went with guys. I met him 3 times over my 2 week visit in Sydney. First time he didn't cum, the last 2 he came in my mouth. I could tell he really enjoyed that blowjob I gave him.

I see this guy's add on backpage a lot. :)

@topinla did you write a a DaddyReview? I'd love to read it.
