I'm from a military family and work now as a civilian for the DoD, and a question has occurred to me. It's a given that younger military members don't make much money. While there is still a certain amount of homophobia in the ranks, the end of Don't Ask, Don't Tell has had an effect, and there are gay, bi, and gay-friendly soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen these days.

 

Fit young men who need some extra money and are at least open to sex with other men sometimes become escorts. Does anyone know of, or has hired, an active duty service-member as an escort? Just curious if there are many out there.

Yes. Active duty soldier posted locally. He was fit but nothing special by gay escort standards. I did not repeat even though he was very nice. (I had also discovered someone else whose rate was only $50 more and in a completely different league.)
