DC Police Arrest Suspect in Male-on-Male Sexual Assault

D.C. police arrested a suspect on October 1 for two male sexual assaults. In both instances the man may have entered the residence via an unlocked front door. In the second incident, the victim was able to escape and subdue the attacker then call police. The suspect is being held without bond in DC jail at the present time.

 

I can accept the allegations at face value that at least two men were assaulted as they have reported.

Glad to see that someone who illegally entered two homes and assaulted the occupant was caught. I don't think gay porn scenes depicting break-ins and forced sex have cultural implications on the gay community. If porn had that kind of influence we would see acceptance of "straight" men having sex with other "straight" men and we would not see the backlash against escorts who identify as being straight.

because of my totally incorrect fear of the publicity which would go with it. I suspect that many guys find themselves in my situation - and that is what these bad guys count on ... I realize I am the precise example of what you completely correct people despise, but I suspect we are many .... and totally wrong.

I would never participate in or condone rape or sexual assault, but I must admit that I find some 'forced' porn pretty hot. The important question, I suppose, is whether the use of such porn makes it any more likely that such acts will be carried out. I know that some German studies have concluded that the use of child porn doesn't increase the risk of the users committing offences against children, but I don't know how conclusive that is, or whether the principle is transferrable.

 

In theory 'extreme' porn, including many BDSM scenes and simulated rape has been banned in the UK, because a link was drawn between the consumption of such content and the deaths of a couple of women (both purposeful and accidental), but the debate surrounding the legislation had more to do with public morals than any hard evidence.

This is what I was thinking. Does "forced" porn subliminally affect people to emulate such in real life? Some claim the proliferation of bareback porn encourages gay men to engage in unprotected sex. Im not sure in either case but advocates can't claim one and not the other.

I think bareback porn does indeed encourage people to abandon condoms. Especially those too young to remember the AIDS crisis.
