A request for Daddy, Guy Fawkes, and the other moderators

I do not presume to come to this forum with anything but suggestions that may or may not have come to the attention of The Administration.

 

Is it worth it to have, e.g. a permanent sticky, where new members can post their names and interests? Membership seems to be on the rise, and this might give the Noobs an opportunity not only to see each other, but to see some of the older fellows.

 

Just a thought.

 

P.S. How are we doing on the sports forums?

At the risk of seeming a bit contrarian, I'm wondering why providing more information in one's profile here isn't sufficient ...

 

I will forthrightly acknowledge that if somebody starts posting, I will check out their profile to learn more about them ...

It's the discovery of the new members that seems to be my problem.

There is a listing of most recent members on the front page of the forumor at least there used to be, I cannot seem to locate it now. Found it, but for some reason it seems less prominently placed. Perhaps it was moved or perhaps I am getting forgetful or perhaps both.

 

After the list of members on line, there are several items related to the statistics on the site. The last one is the newest member.
