anyone been to this club yet? i know the hustlaball will be there in january.

if so, how is it? is it just like a dance club that plays house type of music? i will be in vegas this summer and was just curious about it.

also, hustlaball. what's that all about? i've never been to one. is it just like a big rave party. says $100 vip pass gets you to meet all the performers and live escort services too. has anyone done that either?

thanks!

Krave is an interesting 'alternative' nightspot in Vegas~

I put the term alternative in quotes, as Krave's marketing team is taking it in the chops media-wise for not openly saying they are a quote-unquote a 'gay nightclub.' In the times i've been, the crowd has seem pretty well mixed sexually.

It might be the first gay club on The Strip, but Krave knows Vegas well enough to know that they need to tread lightly in unchartered water. So far, the club has had some pretty erratic operation hours and no way to really let people know when they're open (for sure) and what events are happening. Granted, they're a new club and that makes it tough for getting it off the ground quickly, but Vegas is such a competitive marketplace for nightclubs that it's strange to see Krave flop around so much.

The layout is large. The lighting fantastic. The DJ's are usually flown in and well-known. Krave also has a supperclub attached to it, as well as the show 'Fashionistas,' which now competes with other strip extravaganzas.

HustlaBall (1/7/2005) should be a blast: The one last year in Berlin was exciting and innovative. Think of it as a sex-worker's circuit party, conference and oogle-fest... all rolled into one, sweat-drenched good time. I plan on attending, as do other guys who post here on the MC (Brandon Baker, Jason Carter). It'll probably be a good atmosphere for handshaking, ass-grabbing and networking. In that order ;)

I can't comment on which pass to buy. It looks like this event will sell-out, so you might do best with the VIP package, hence skipping long lines and getting into the restricted areas.

I stopped in this club about a month ago. It is unique as it's the first gay club in the strip and one of the larger gay clubs ever in this city.

How well it will do is not set in stone yet. Gay and Las Vegas don't really mix well together. But now that more of you Californian's are moving here with your tolerant attitude toward gay people maybe things will change.

Also, as Ben mentions the clubs hours are hard to pin down at the moment.

RT :)
