Gay stripper clubs in Montreal offer a complete spectrum of body types from slight and young to swimmers and gym bunnies and on to really big body builders. "Taboo" is one end of the spectrum; "Campus" is the next phase.

Last week was quite busy at "Campus." Wednesday was Gary, the owner's, 50th birthday, and there was a big party with female singer, dancing in the aisles, and a finale with 50 dancers on stage. Then Friday night, a Special Customer from New York was at the club to celebrate his birthday, so the stage was specially decorated and the dancers were all excited.

The pattern of activity at "Campus" has changed slightly. The club opens at 3:00, but if you come before 6:00 any day of the week, you will sit at the bar with the bartender and one dancer and listen to music. Nothing really gets going until 6:00 when the second shift of dancers come on; they will stay until midnight. The crowd of customers appears beginning at 6:00.

Although it used to be that twinks danced in the late afternoon and early evening, on the four nights I was there last week, there was not a single twink. What is featured now is the swimmer's build or frat boy model, somewhat more developed than a twink, a bit more mature (not as "cute" or "boyish"), and usually some muscle development. They are handsome young men.

Zack - was a delight, charming, youthful, energetic, beautiful body but certainly not lean, great conversationalist, very nice in back, and great ass. He's fun to talk with, fun to play with, smooth, and enjoys giving you a good time.

Andrew - was there only one night, but he was very good, a little lean but muscled (he does construction during the day), a little shy, good in back, intelligent.

Jay - danced each night, nice guy, smooth lean body, some muscle development, well hung, nice firm round ass, works the crowd.

Damon - was there two nights and is stunning, beautiful face and sandy, curly hair, lightly tanned body of a young Greek god, perfectly proportioned, slender waist, must be about 6 feet tall, and a gorgeous body in every way. Little uncertainty with English, but very nice.

James - had a nice swimmer's body, was good on the pole, and had a dazzling smile. He is popular with all the dancers and seems like a good friend and pleasant.

Alexi - (I think that was his name, but maybe "Starling"?). He danced every night and has an almost perfect young man's body, beautiful tightly muscled torso, great legs, smooth, beautiful full firm ass, strong, defined back muscles, good haircut, handsome face and good haircut. His dance is very good, and he dances fully nude. He is covered completely on the left side with tattooes.

Dave - has an average swimmer's body, smooth, and is fairly tall. He seemed to be nice, but never smiled, and he danced every night. A smile helps a great deal. He also shows all, but never takes everything off and never dances actually nude.

Adam - danced Saturday and was absolutely stunning. He's 20, slender but perfectly muscled and perfectly proportioned. His pecs, abs, and back are nicely defined, and his legs are gorgeous. He's a college student and dances only weekends. He's aware of himself as an entertainer and works the stage and the crowd. His English is very good and he is a good conversationalist.

Nito / Cubanito - is a frat boy type from Cuba. He's got dark curly hair, a very nice body and is well hung, and he dances fully nude. He seemed to have a number of admirers in the audience, danced every night, and seemed to work hard and please customers.

Chris - was the sole blond while I was there, pleasant, smooth, nice ass, nicely hung, gregarious, very nice looking when he smiled. He did wear a baseball cap much of the time.

Angelo - was an Italian/Canadian, tall and lean and a little hairy. He also wore a cap. His body type was a swimmer's.

In addition to these guys, there were at least as many other dancers from 6:00 - 9:00 that might be described as pudgy. They weren't fat nor body builders, but they were somewhat heavier than an average build, perhaps a college football player physique. At 9:00 the older and more muscular dancers appeared and performed until 3:00 a.m.

The crowd of customers becomes quite thick after 7:30. If you are very interested in particular dancers, your chance of talking with them and getting a lap dance is best between 6:00 and 7:30. Lap dances are $20 and the booths in back have open doors, no curtains.

You can plan your evening to start with "Campus" from 6:00 - 8:00 or so, then have dinner at one of the restaurants along Ste. Catherine, then head to "Stock" or "Taboo" (depending on your taste) for another few hours of stripper action.

Great post Karl, I really enjoy reading it. I love the beefy Campus boys, so I usually go to Campus at 9:00 PM , when I'm in town. Then, I head over to Stockbar at around midnight. I have never been to Campus in the evening, so I don't know any of the dancers you mentioned above. Glad to know it's not all twinks in the evening now.

I'm loving these detailed posts - thanks so much for taking the time to write them!

Is Campus still doing 2-for-price-of-1 lap dances from 3-5 pm? (They were last year.)

I wonder if Jay is the same dark-haired handsome soccer hunk who looks a bit like a young Freddie Prinze Jr.

Sam may be my favorite (about 5'7", dark-haired, seeing a pattern, anyone? Lol) but we've kept in touch and he's dancing mich less often these days.

We just returned from a Labor Day trip to Montreal. We paid visits to each of the clubs and here are a few highlights.

CAMPUS - We spent the most time visiting here during the afternoon shift. On one day the rotation was similar to what it has been in the past - alternating dancers and fast songs and slow (nude) songs. On Sunday, there were fewer dancers so the dancer performed his fast song first with a very short break followed then by his slow song. The highlights for us at Campus were definitely Cubanito and Alex. Cubanito is a handsome, well-built guy from Colombia who used to dance at Taboo. He has a very energetic on-stage presence and engages with the customers. He also made a point of making a connection with us and spent a lot of time chatting. He is very intelligent, a student, and speaks three languages. And he is exceptional in the back - one of the best experiences in my many Montreal visits. I don't often do repeats on a trip, but made an exception for Cubanito. My other half spent time with Alex. Alex was a very nice French Canadian guy, a great conversationalist who loved to talk about travel and his dogs. He was great on stage and has a nice layer of fur on his chest. He too was excellent in the back and earned a repeat private. I would highly recommend both of them for conversation and private dances. The four of us hung out chatting for much of the evening.

Otherwise, other dancers who performed well on stage but we did not take private were Zach who gave a very energetic dance for his fast song and performed an excellent and totally nude dance for his slow number. The very tall Kyle was also excellent on stage.

STOCK - We spent a couple hours at Stock which certainly has the best stage and overall club atmosphere for watching. We didn't go in the back because our previous experiences in the back at Stock have often been disappointing. We did have a nice conversation with Kevin David who seemed like a very sweet guy and had a great presence on stage. I do enjoy the stage shows at Stock especially that most of the dancers perform the slow number totally nude and don't do the drop my pants and pull them back up routine.

TABOO - We spent a few nights there on our first night and then headed there late Sunday night for their 24th anniversary party. There weren't that many dancers that caught our attention at Taboo as many of them weren't are type and a little too "twinky". I did have a good private with Vincent who was a very nice guy and chatted with him for a short time. The party on Sunday night was especially crowded and the buffet appeared a bit disappointing although it didn't stop the customers from devouring the food. We watched a couple nurse one drink all night, never have a private, and then eat their way through that buffet like they hadn't eaten in a week.

LUX - This was a very mixed bag. We were there late Friday night. On the positive, we did have a nice conversation with an intelligent dancer whose name escapes me but he was the only one who wore glasses. He was a little older (for a dancer) but I enjoyed the conversation and considered a private but was getting tired. My other half had a private with a Brazilian (forgetting his name too) and said it was a pretty good experience although he made it clear that his rules would change for privates with a four- or five-song commitment. Lux now has a completely different layout. The stage is moved and the private dances are upstairs in the front. The downside of Lux was the aggressiveness of certain dancers. One of them would not leave us alone and continued to the point that when we turned him down for a private, he directly asked for some money. It was also a very different atmosphere as there were a lot of women in the crowd and appeared to be a bachelor party.

Until our next visit.....

I don't know any of the Campus guys you listed above. I saw Kevin David on the live internet feed a week ago, he looks nice. I tend to stick to my regular guys at Stockbar (phillipe, Yannick- ), and Sam at Campus.

I at times have found the guys really aggressive at Campus....so much so, that our group left to go do dinner. Then there has been some times when Stock got crazy....mostly on Wed nights when we would get hounded because the guys weren't making money with the ladies. lol I wouldn't put a label on either club as being aggressive or not, I think it depends on who you are and how you handle the situations and what is going on at the time. Just my 2 cents worth.

Actually, i'm shy and don't mind overtures from "aggressive" dancers. I rather say no, than try to get their attention, especially if they are busy with their locals, it's always nice to have them come over to say hello. I find dancers equally "friendly" amongst all the montreal strip clubs. The ones that i have a hard time getting attention, are the ones at Stock, who are always popular and extremely occupied.

When I'm at Stockbar or Campus, I'm usually sitting with my regular guys, so the other dancers don't bother me. My regular guys sit with me until, I leave the club. At Campus, I'm usually sitting with Sam, and at Stockbar I'm with Yannick and Phillipe. So no issues here, with aggressive dancers at both clubs.
