May I just say that I have had numerous clients who I meet through Adonis Lounge and are not looking online. Other guys are repeat clients but not familiar or comfortable with Daddy's and/or are not registered members of Rentmen.

I met and spoke with BigRic several months ago at the Adonis Lounge in L.A. His photographs are totally accurate; he is both very handsome and very well built. He is also very personable and well spoken. In his rentmen ad he states “I especially get off on having my hard muscles worshiped and being on the receiving end of your oral attention, front and back”. That attitude came across loud and clean when I was speaking with him regarding setting up a private get together. At that point I lost any interest I might have had in hiring him as I insist that the guys I play with be VERY MUTUALLY involved. We were simply NOT a good fit.

Why do you think people are not comfortable with Daddy's?

 

I'd be hesitant to speculate, Edin. But I also want to try to be more responsive than just saying, "You'd have to ask them."

 

I don't think it's a Daddy's-specific issue. I think it may have more to do with general discomfort with registering with an unfamiliar Website, especially one wherein someone might be asked to provide what they consider personal information (even just a "cruising" e-mail address) to discuss their having hired an escort. I used to explain it and walk through a happy client who hired me via Adonis but have stepped back from that. I'm gonna get some more advice/coaching on "the lead and how to swing it" (yes, that's a Tom Jones reference) from Ryan Steel the next time I hire, er, see him though.

 

Also, two comparative examples of why I want to gently suggest that the low response in this thread may or may not mean much:

 

I happen to participate on some home theater/Blu-ray enthusiast discussion boards. It's become really clear to me over the years that online discussion fora are disproportionately attractive to hobbyists. In the HT/Blu-ray case, guys posting pictures of the construction progress on the dedicated media room they're adding to their house or going off about how they added interior artwork to their Steelbooks are not typical consumers. They are a minority subset of the movie-consuming audience. (I've got young friends who don't ever go to a movie theater or buy films--they scam free copies and watch online.) My point is that the good folks who are in online hobbyist communities may or very well may not be a representative cross section of the broader marketplace.

 

I also happen to run an Amazon Marketplace store. I have 100% positive feedback. But on balance, the number of my customers who have taken the time over the years to leave me feedback is barely a drop in the bucket compared to my total number of customers since I started selling (other!) goods online. LOL. I've also learned that it's frequently the case that people largely take to their computer to write a "strongly-worded letter to the White Star Line" (yes, that's a TITANIC reference) or leave feedback when they're unhappy. If they have nothing to say, it's likely that we're all good. Similarly, if I cook a meal for some folks and they don't comment on it but their plates are empty, it's not because they're dissatisfied. It's because their mouths were and now their stomachs are full . . . which brings me back to escorting.

resurrecting this thread because I finally met BigRic a few days ago for a real meeting...I say "finally" because I'd first met him a couple years ago or so at an Adonis LA event at Fubar bar.....since then, we've had regular chitchat via PMs here and I thought a private meeting was due.....

 

stats and pictures are accurate....very smart and chatty guy.....100% masculine as I much prefer.....very in-shape and tight body...avid movie buff (loves quoting random lines, as is evidenced in this and other posts he makes here).....eager to please, but, as always, discreetly discuss your plan beforehand.....easy-going, nice, and worry-free
