Often if you 'googled' an escort's phone number in the 'pre-raid' days, a link to his Rentboy ad would pop up. Has anyone noticed whether Rentmen and M4RN ads pop up on googling phone numbers nowadays?

Yes, sometimes. But seems less common than before? Over half the time I google a number from RM or BP or CL I just get all the pages showing reverse phone lookup sites and "who called me" sites etc.

 

I'm curious if this relates to more people using Google voice, I have no clue how that works. I know my iPhone burner app number doesn't pop up anything.

I get the same results as well and sometimes I get weird names of women or a very ethnic foreign name nothing close to the escort advertising.

I've only noticed the ad coming up on a google of the phone number if the provider has put his number in the text of his RM ad, or if the M4RN ad has a number displayed on the ad page.

That makes sense, if the number is shielded from the main/public page the search engines webcrawlers wouldn't find it. If I were an advertiser, I'd consider that a "plus", some arms length from needless calls.
