Hello everyone! I've decided to reemerge after time away and finally closing some chapters in my life. School life is currently on hold through the rest of the summer until Fall which leaves room open to meet new people. I do hope as well to see family and friendly faces again, please say hi. Currently, I'm living in Atlanta (for the next year) and possibly relocating back to the West Coast after graduation. However, I've learned along the way that nothing ever goes as planned so keeping an open mind is key to being happy. I am contemplating on some traveling during the next few months (off school) and have not decided where, yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to meeting you soon. -Ryan Turner

Wow, thank you all!! I definitely am planning to visit California again and debating how far North to take Pacific Coast HWY. Not sure about visiting Florida this time of year. I left for a good reason LOL even though I grew in the tropics.

 

It's a beautiful day here in Atlanta this morning. I'm planning to spend the weekend on the lake and getting some color back on my body. I'm white as a ghost lol Damn Irish blood! What is everyone else's plans?

The Highway 1 drive from Morro Bay to San Francisco is one of the most beautiful in the world, as is the rest of Highway 1 north to Oregon. Just be advised that once you start either of these legs, it can be hard to escape and get back to the main highway, 101. Well worth it, if you have plenty of time, especially in a smaller car that is fun to drive on a winding road. Do it!

I had to take time out to close some chapters and focus more on school... it was really hard concentrating on homework and giving me best in both worlds. So.. I was selfish and focused on me for a while. Now that I have a break and tied up some loose ends I can focus more on other extracurricular activities

Thankfully, I'm on a quarterly system.. I usually have about 3 weeks off in between to do some traveling. My problem is I LOVE my breaks and can't wait for them to roll around and do nothing, however that lasts for about a week and then I get incredibly bored and start filling in my time. Part of the reason I'm in Atlanta beyond school is also because I'm building a home. NEVER EVER EVER EVER will I do something like this again!!! What a pain what should've been a year long project is turning into two years.

Are you doing the construction work yourself or acting as the general contractor? I'm always impressed by guys who are 'handy'-women too as I'm kind of a klutz.

I'm doing as much of the construction work as possible.. except plumbing and electrical.
