I confess I looked up the area code and was not surprised by what I found.

So what did you find? +64 is the international code for New Zealand and 221398166 is a NZ mobile number.

Although I have never hired Ashton, I have met him through mutual acquaintances, at social events a few times.

He is typical easy going Kiwi lad and I'm sure, that he and his NZ accent would make for great company. Also, he is with Australia's premier agency Knight Call in Sydney and has been for a whiles - they don't keep the bad ones around for long!

That's a Louisiana area code -- and the state's education ranking is #47.

Do area codes really mean anything relative to geography nowadays? I don't know about like Google voice, but the burner app for my iPhone gave me a host of available area codes, as did my magic jack voip. One local SoCal guy has a Miami area code. I asked, he said "my mom (in Florida) got me the phone"

I say no. When I got my "activity" phone, and was setting it up, it asked what area code it would be used most. Put in any area code I wanted. Would suggest that to all those who want to divert attention away from where they actually live.
