I can see that after an unfortunate accident or health crisis, prosthetics would be perfectly acceptable--not likely even to be noticed. But self-castration--really? They say "any press is good press", so I wonder if this guy is getting business from all the chatter. There is an established (albeit niche) market for this sort of situation.

It is the self-mutilation aspect of it that is so horrifying. Other than that, I have no problem with a guy having his testicles removed if it is an honest form of self-expression. It is not different from a MtF trans woman going through the motions, which may include surgery. We, including myself in earlier posts, shouldn't be so judgmental about that.
