hunkvideo.com site "suspended"....anybody here look at this?

hey all...wondering if anybody here looks at this site (it's about male nudity in the arts/media) and saw that it had been "suspended", according to the site that appears when trying to get to hunkvideo...does anybody here know more?...it's an active and hip discussion board and I'm sure many posters are wondering what's up...thanks for your help...I'm posting this question here because it's one of the few I look at and it's a busy forum...SORRY for the off-topic

Why is this same post showing up on message boards all over the internet, always by an unfamiliar poster? It smells of a shit-stirring campaign in mid-brew.

hey deej....nothing sinister from me...just asking here because it's a busy group and I thought there'd be somebody who looks at both this group and hunkvideo's discussion board...I don't know of many other boards where this topic would come up...I don't think there is any "shit-stirring" going on...the board is operated by a good person, so trying to figure it out, as others are, apparently

I was about to post a question here about the site and saw your post so thanks for asking.

 

It is a fun place for sure and I hope it gets back on-line soon. There was ALWAYS something to save at least once a day interms of video captures from TV, movies, etc. I also LOVED the exchanges of Magnolia Thunderpussy and the other sassy members. Let's up it gets back up soon.

I'm not at all surprised that people have been posting all over the net wondering what happened. It is a very busy group that's populated by a lot of colorful characters and amusing characters and it crashed without warning. I used to post there on a regular basis. (My screen name expired and I never got around to having it reactived. Now I just lurk.) Marvin Jones, the guy who runs Campfire video and the hunkvideo discussion board is a great guy. Sadly he's been having financial problems for years. He had to file for bankruptcy a couple of years ago. It's no secret that his financial problems have reared their ugly heads again. (He's been asking for donations via paypal) When I couldn't access the site over the weekend, I thought to myself that his financial house of cards must have come crashing down on him. Sadly, I was right. The site is up and running again. He posted that he had to sell the company.
