3 Finger Selfie?

I periodically read about a 3 finger selfie. Can someone explain exactly what that term means and how it helps weed out fakes/frauds? Thanks!

Its a variation of the a picture of the escort holding a copy of todays newspaper because we all know newspapers no longer exist... instead they hold up three fingers. A specific picture request like this shows that a person is who they say they are because "in general" they are unique and it is not something that can be just stolen from someone's Instagram and passed off as their own. The chances that you could find a picture of the hot model you stole a picture of in the first place as well as a 3 fingered selfie on the spot of that same hot model is very unlikely - hence if they can produce the photo for you, there is a good chance they are who they claim to be.

AND, just as the explosion of Narcissistic social media has made it poss for fakers and scammers to have more photos of the dude they're pretending to be than their own Gramma's have ( he's gotta be real he sent a selfie in the locker room on his arm day and holding the baby golden retriever in HS) the 3 finger selfie will soon be equally as swipe-able as more n more legit scorts and models and guys just looking to hook up put them out into the universe as proof they're who they say they are. The ONLY way to avoid getting taken aside from a live facetime is to ALWAYS TRAVEL to a first-hire AND be prepped to walk away from the door.

Not if they already stored a 3 finger selfie of the guy they're impersonating or just using his pictures.

and it doesn't have to be exactly a "three-fingered selfie"....you may want to just request they write down your email address/username on a piece of paper, hold it next to their face, and take a picture of it...or any similar validation attempt
