Women definitely can command more, just like in porn. Plus, they likely targeted finance customers, and as y'all know, people from wall street and related companies make incredible amounts of money. 25k isn't much to someone worth tens of millions or more.

It's probably politics. Someone powerful used this pimp and someone wants to blackmail him OR it's a PR stunt to make an ex-cop look bad or make current cops look good for bringing down this dirty retired cop.

Definitely seemed politically driven when I read the article. It's certainly much less likely to impact the women who are true victims of prostitution.
