I really don't give a shit about you or your stories. I can't (and wouldn't if I could) do anything to stop you from posting them, whatever they may be. If I see some of them and don't like them, I simply won't read them in future. If I think any of them is in some way deserving of comment, I may post a comment. But I'm not one of the assholes here who perpetually whine and cry that those who post things I don't like should be censored or excluded. If you are, if seeing ideas and opinions you don't like is too much for your sensitive little soul to endure, then a message board is definitely the wrong place for you to spend your time.

Devon's Diary - Epilogue

Hi all,

I was transferring some favorite links to another computer and clicked on "Devon's Diary" to see if it was still active.

http://slimnmuscly.livejournal.com/

I was somewhat surprised to find a fairly recent post (May 2006) where he describes what he's been up to in the past two years and states "all in all I'm happier than I've ever been".

I'm very glad that things turned out well for "Devon" after all he went thru.

enjoy,

Rendie

RE: Devon's Diary - Epilogue

Thanks for the update! Funny thing I was just thinking about him Sunday wondering how he was doing and such. I met Devon on a trip he made out here to Seattle just before everything happed and despite everything he was going through he hid it very well. I'm glad he is in a much better place and continue to wish him the best.

Hugs,

Greg

As one of Devon's former clients and an avid reader of his diary, I always (in some way) felt very close to the man! He seemingly exuded a genuine image in person as well as in his writings.

I wish him the very best in his present and future endeavors! Take care, young man!!!! :-)

Same here. Funny coincidence that you should post this, Rendie. I had written to Devon last month to see how he was doing, and he wrote back pretty much what he'd posted in the recent diary entry you mention. I asked if he'd mind if I posted about it, because I know there are still people out there who are curious or care, and he said I could, but then Derek and I took off on our current trip and I didn't have time. So, thanks for saving me the effort!

Devon was one of the few escorts I've met (Scott Adler is another) who was boldly honest in his opinions and revelations, and non-competitive toward other escorts. Those are two qualities that endeared him to me as a blogger and as a person.

RE: Devon's Diary - Epilogue

I think my kind of experience with Devon is one that hasn't been discussed here yet. He was the very first escort I ever hired. I had been in the closet all my life, was both scared and intrigued about being with a man, got a chance to go to SF, and started reading the Hooboy reviews. But because of Devon's amazing diary and the way he came across as a kind, caring, gentle person, I discovered the person I wanted to spend time with. He was someone I could trust not to put me down for my lack of experience with escorts. Turned out he was everything I had hoped for and more.

The whole experience was wonderful, and I think every moment is etched in my brain forever.

The diary was an outstanding introduction to the escort world, and I thank you all for calling attention to his Epilogue entry. I am so happy to learn that he's got someone to share life with and that his schooling continues to show high quality (4.0's!), just like the man himself.

Devon, if you read this, please know that I think of you often and wish you and yours only the very best.

Jerry,

My experience with Devon was virtually identical to yours -- he was my first and I will remember and love him forever. I have the added pleasure of owning one of his paintings. Every time I look at it I smile and remember the wonderful man and the great times we had together. He is the vesy best!

Thanks for the wonderful post!

Best,

RE: Devon's Diary - Epilogue

Devon was one of the first escorts with whom I spent time. He was, and I'm sure still is, a truly nice guy. I really don't understand the attitude of some poster on this site. Why do they feel that if a person chooses to be an escort that person is automatically a trailor trash, lying, cheating sleeze bag? It just IS NOT TRUE!!!!! The escorts I have had the pleasure meeting, thus far, have been, as a group, interesting, well educated, honest, and talented individuals. They have made my life richer in numerous ways besides the simple fun of our physical encounters. Anybody not wishing a person like Devon the best of everything in his future endeavours is simply beyond my understanding.

Hi, I'm not the Devon you all were talking about on this thread years ago... I'm Devon Hunter, but now that I've found this thread, spoken to Devon a tad in passing, and given it some thought I can see why he would reach out to me. We both blog about intensely personal subjects. We're both writers. We're both artists, though he is a painter and I am a choreographer. I am suddenly as interested in talking to him as he seems to be in talking to me. We definitely have our differences (if what I understand about his drug situation is true), but how funny that we should have so much in common (beyond our name). Interesting... Very interesting... I may need to interview him for my blog...
