Is it my imagination or could this be true?

I have tried to get out to the local neighborhood bars in Atlanta more in hopes to meeting new friends. What I have observed is occasionally a cute young guy would come in the bars with a book/back pack bag. There is always a group of guys that seem to know these guys and they always seem to be working the bar crowd. Could these guys be working boys and like a boy scout always prepared? I do know a couple of the guys I have seen have work as dancer at BJ’s and Swinging Richards.
