Ask him upfront and before he appears what his rate will be for time and services. He should definitely be willing and able to quote you a fee for this. If he can't or won't I would suggest not getting together with him.

Is it normal or advisable to discuss the rate as if it were a "modeling fee" or something of the sort so as to avoid making it sound like an offer of money for sex? Again, I have no idea what I am doing!!

If you're new at this, my only advice is to communicate specifically what you want to occur during the appointment, and make sure he is willing to accommodate you. Be clear, and leave nothing to chance, and lastly...if for any reason he does not come as advertised, do not let him in...period. You can if you choose, give him a little something for his travel, but that really is money for him to leave...Good luck.

Well when he first started to advertise he was a top. Then he was a versatile/top. Then he changed to being versatile. Now he's back to being a top. So you may be able to convince him to bottom.
