Been there once. A lot dancers. Lap dance area. Met Marcus Patrick there. HOT!!!

 

I met Marcus Patrick at Spunk one night... very hot and provided an above average lapdance with no funny business regarding # of songs, etc. Straight shooter if you will forgive the pun.

I kicked myself a few times for never asking Marcus for a dance that time I saw him at Spunk. I guess I can sleep better knowing I didn't miss anything spectacular lol. His stage performance was hot though!

I went there once around 7PM. Bought a drink for a guy and visited for about ten minutes. Then he told me, "GTFOH and don't ever come back." Out of the blue. Very strange. Still to this day don't know what I said or did. So I didn't (ever come back). Still kinda laugh at the whole episode, it was so strange. And carry my ass to ATL and play at Swinging Richards. Love that place, as I have said a few times.

While I'm by no means an expert on the world famous Tin Room (yes, they advertise themselves as world famous) I have been known to darken their doors from time to time. Most of the local dancers there fall into one of several groups....dancers earning some extra cash to supplement their day jobs, dancers earning cash to send back to their families in Central America, straight kids who have learned that gay men will shove cash into their Andrew Christian underwear and dancers who travel the dance club circuit around the country. The dance club circuit guys usually stay a week and move on when their newness wears off. 99% of the dancers do not escort and quite frankly you're probably lucky they don't. Just my thoughts on the place.

Private dances are $20 each and each dancer determines the length of the dance. Some dancers will provide a long lap dance while others will leave you shaking your head and asking "Is that all there is?" There is a corner area of the bar dedicated to lap dances and is separated from the main bar area with a privacy curtain. You may be the only one getting a dance or there may be several others getting a dance at the same time. Just depends. The lap dance area has built-in benches along the walls for bar patrons to get their dances.

 

The Friday happy hour crowd is fun and usually has decent dancers. Look for Charlie, Joel and Jaime to give you great dances. FYI.....drink prices are reasonable ranging from domestic bottle beer at $3.50 during happy hour to $4.25 during non-happy hour. I'm not a big drinker but I believe call well drinks are around $5.00. Of course, premium call drinks are higher.

 

If you are going to be in Dallas on a Tuesday evening I'd recommend going to BJs on Fitzhugh Ave. They are known for their Tuesday night crowds and there will be a ton of dancers for your enjoyment. BJs also has private rooms for lap dances. Again, $20 per dance. Additionally, the following bars have dancers but I'm not an expert on them:

 

Marty's on Maple Ave. (same owners as the Tin Room)

The Brick on Wycliffe Ave (popular on Fridays-Happy hour)

Zippers on Fitzhugh Ave (same owners as the Tin Room)

Throckmorton Mining Company (TMC) on Cedar Springs Rd.

 

From what I've observed over the years is that dancers here in Dallas are all over the board. Finding a good one is like finding that proverbial needle in a haystack. In addition to the ones I mentioned above there is a dancer at the Brick by the name of James. Great guy. And as nice as the day is long. I think he's usually there on Fridays for Happy hour.

 

One final note...I believe the Brick transitions into an African American bar late on Fridays and Saturdays. By late I mean around 10 or 11 pm. Many times they have shows on weekend nights. Hard to get a grip on what clientele they're serving. It's all over the board. But on Friday during happy hour the Brick delivers on dancers.

 

OK... This has turned into a novelette and I'll end here. Hope this is of some assistance to you. Maybe other Dallas forum members can reaffirm or offer their own perspective on dancers bars here. Enjoy Dallas!

I enjoy the Tin Room very much , I go several times a month to hang out with my friends. IMO it's the best strip club in Dallas, and has a wide variety of guys. The very best few guys compare to the best guys in Montreal or Atlanta...of course that's subjective, but I think there are a few with really great physiques and very handsome faces. A few are SeanCody alumni. Thurs-Sat are the best nights, they may have about 20 or so guys. Sunday it's dead. The lap dances are in a common area behind a curtain, $20/song. In general they last 2-3 times as long as those in Montreal, so it's a good deal, promiscuity varies widely with the individual dancer.

 

Marcus Patrick was mentioned...he is a friend of mine, very genuine, positive and funny, huge endowment, great guy. He's been at Tin Room for a few years now, but he'll be leaving soon to take his family traveling to see the country.

Tin Room is my favorite strip club in America as far as variety, ease of movement and ability to just get in, have a good time, and get out. Lotsa of the boys available for extras and Dallas is such a navigatable city. Who ever said "just twinks" is mistaken. Marcus Patrick is a good damn time and provides a helluva massage.

I went Saturday night for my first visit there. All but about two of the dancers were hot.

One in particular was exceptional to me. He was lean muscular bearded guy with a heavy accent. He said Italian, but I think it was middle eastern. He didn't dance much in the floor, but he did two awesome private dances. I went back Sunday and he wasn't there.

The club is not set up that great IMO, and not as nice of a place as some others that I have been to, but the dancers were hot. The same guys kept giving private dances, and I was surprised my guy wasn't asked to do more.

I gave him my number because he said he would come see me when he got off. I never heard from him.
