Around a dozen years ago, I chatted up a really sweet and nice guy working out at the same gym I did, and he shared having been a fashion model, working in Europe mostly, and having gotten out of that business to be an office manager for a legal firm for that very reason. His father is a Canadian diplomat while his mother is Chinese Malaysian. When he was still in high school his father was stationed at Canada embassy in Jakarta.
