Since the chance of pregnancy, while diminished, is still possible, depending on how far the surgery has progressed. One should not count on Prep, but rather go with a condom in this circumstance.

Women with naturally high testosterone levels, or unnaturally high testosterone levels will have irregularities with the menstrual cycle and develop secondary male sexual traits such as facial and body hair, and they may also see enlargement of the clitoris. The preferred birth control method would probably be one without Estrogen. There are a limited number of Progesterone only BCP and patches and devices.

Also, having talked to several FTM's, their elevated testosterone levels make it nearly impossible to get pregnant.
