Maybe I am living in the boonies but I had never heard of this brand of underwear until today.

 

I bought a copy of the September issue of "Details" magazine. By the way, it pretends to be aimed at a straight audience, but it is the gayest thing out there!

 

On page 227 is an ad for C-in2 underwear. It shows two guys in tighty whities, being arrested by two hunky cops. Their jeans are around their ankles and the cops have one of them bent over the trunk of the cop car. Talk about erotic porn!

Take a look at it - they have the same pic on their website. I swear to god it makes A&F look like a Sunday School Picnic.

Must be a pretty progressive ad agency to come up with that concept and an equally progressive client to buy into it. Don't care if the product is shit - I'd buy it just to support them.

In a heartbeat! Unfortunately, the stores where this stuff is sold are few and far between. Maybe online? I'll be hunting . . . it all looks great on the models, of course, and I'm sure it will look equally good on me . . . yeah, right. Oh, well . . .

Zipperzone, I just returned from Borders, and one of the things I was looking at in the cafe was that issue of Details, including the ad you mentioned. You're right! It definitely pays special attention to the gay audience while pretending to have str8 20-somethings - male and female, as the intended audience. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. They sure get some great looking male models, whatever their sexual orientation is.

All of the stores that are listed are in gay spots: West Hollywood, Provincetown, Chelsea, Castro, South Beach, etc. One of the founders was originally with 2(x)ist, which also makes underwear which appeals heavily to the gay market. One fully expects the next ad in the series to show the cops with their pants pulled down (ooo!).
