I haven't seen Bilbo, Les, and Godiva in the Lounge in a while. Does anyone know what happened to these guys?

Responding to this thread - What a nice way to be able to announce my return! I feel honored.

I went for a week to California. To Wildwood, the major home encampment of the Body Electric school. Had a most wonderful week. And have three Sacred Intimates in California and one in Amsterdam (though he's considering a move to San Francisco) to recommend. Perhaps in another thread. This post is about ME!

Although, Will, if you're reading this, how was your week at Easton Mountain?

We had made the reservation for that class six months ago, maybe more. Maverick, my love, insisted that I go even though it meant that he would be alone here in Houston the last week before our move. We just bought a new house together, the first time for either of us. (If you know Houston, it's four and a half blocks from Keys West.) We had to move out of our old place because the landlord sold it (including our month to month lease) to her son and he wanted to move into it himself. But the new house wasn't ready to be closed on, yet. Maverick thought that it would only be two weeks or less that we would be at the interim apartment, so he didn't get us phone landlines for that part of the trip. It turned out to be four weeks of living out of boxes in an out of the way part of the city so that we didn't even think about going to an internet cafe or anything like that. Glad to be out of that. Then, in our new place, we are the only ones living on our block in an area which is being suddenly gentrified, in a process lead by the black Baptist churches which are already here in the area. The phone company came by the first day and tried to install our phones, but there was something wrong in the lines before they got to the house and they told us that it would be maybe two more weeks before we had a dial tone in either number. Well, one number still doesn't have it, but we went to Copy.Com and hired time on their computers. I had 750! emails to go through. After an hour of just throwing away the obvious chaff, we came on home and found out that Maverick's phone was on line. But it took me the rest of the computer time I had that week to deal with all of that. And, when I finally got back here, there were 8! pages of new threads for me to go through, and that was only the Lounge section! Started from the rear - you know me - and finally found this the next day at the top of page three.

And now, if you're still reading this long as hell post, you know!

Nota Bene: I was not a part of any mass exodus or any other demonstration.

So happy to be back!
