I saw that a local escort was advertising as "Available Now" on RentMen. His ad says to call or text. I text him saying that I like his ad, I'm interested in getting together, and where in town he is located (he does both in and out call). An hour goes by and I see he's still advertising as "Available Now" so I double check that I typed in the correct number and text him again saying I'm hoping to set something up for today. Another hour goes by and this time I call and get his VM. I leave a message stating I like his ad on RentMen and I'd like to get together. Two more hours have now passed and no response. Should I give up on this one?

Ashbury, do pass. Don't try too hard. Many guys leave the "lights on" just to get interested parties to look in. Don't be surprised if you hear from him later and don't hold it against him. Honestly, if I hear back from him I may try to connect but I seriously doubt I will try contacting this guy again.

For whatever reason he is not responding I wouldn't try and contact him again. He may think you're a stalker. Look for a substitute. If in the meantime he responds then you can go with him. If not you have your plan B.
