The electronic sign by the highway says "One text or call can wreck it all."

Every time I see it I want to change it to:

One text

or call

can wreck

it all.

In a previous note I mentioned my father was from plains Montana. His father was in the hotel business

and met his wife on a business trip to NYC, but my father's mother's brother moved to Los Angeles.

 

So my father moved to ABQ to work in a branch office for his uncle ....

The current advertisements here use the catch-phrase, 'Get your hand off it'. Those five words posted on hoardings all around a sports ground made me snicker.

Clever sexual innuendo that leaves no doubt in any Australian's mind that the ad is calling people who text and drive wankers!
