Sideways Pics on Escort Ads?

Perhaps I’m missing something. I’m not all that technologically savvy. I’m not an escort, so I’ve never created an ad for myself on Rentmen, Hourboy, etc. And I rarely take selfies.

 

But what’s up with all of the sideways pics that escorts post of themselves? I’m happy to cock my head at an angle while I’m with an escort, if necessary… but I prefer not to do so when perusing ads.

I agree with you. How lazy do you have to be to post photo that is not the right angle? There are tons of free photo programs out there, if they are really a pro they should be putting their best pics and best foot forward. Putting a grainy photograph that is horizontal when it should be vertical makes me wonder just how good they are as a pro.

On a similar note, many of the photos posted are basically the same type of shot over and over (selfies in front of the bathroom mirror wearing different underwear)! Or, as mentioned, they are blurry, too dark, or don't show the escort to advantage. The videos are often extreme close ups of anal sex that could be anybody. I prefer the videos that show the escort's whole body- perhaps masturbating. The idea, I think, is to attract me, the client, and a poorly presented web site doesn't help. Why is it always, always, always the bathroom? Don't they have another mirror in their home? And, do they need a mirror at all?

If you can't take a decent selfie, get a friend or colleague to do it. Better yet, have a client take some hot pics of you with your cell phone--he might enjoy that.

Choose an appropriate or neutral background. Pick up dirty laundry from bedroom floor, remove beer bottles and empty ash trays, tidy up a bit or else shoot around the mess.

If you are going to post pictures of your feet, make sure they are well groomed...i personally don't like feet photos and I know some guys are into that but nothing turns me off more than nasty feet that pop up unexpectedly. Cut the toenails, get a pedicure, wash your feet first.

When I see sideways pics I usually assume they are using an older iPhone. Phones made in the last five years will auto rotate the picture. Rentmen could also correct it automatically because the pictures have orientation info in their header. I agree it is kind of annoying as I usually view these on a tablet and have to turn auto rotate off to see it. It also means the guy isn't very tech savvy which can work for some ;-)
