I'll venture a guess, Glennnn, that that's because you're a nice guy, not inclined to snark or rudeness, unlikely to call anyone a "dumbass" or a "snotty little cunt," let alone "sweetums" (ouch!) -- so I wouldn't give it another thought -- just belly up to the banquet table (Greg is bringing nachos!) and enjoy the company.

Moondance, I think you should be more descriptive about the type of nachos, Greg is bringing....not your typical. :)

The second one is more of a warning system. Quite often I will click to see the ignored content anyway. But at least I know in advance that odds are good that it will be high-handed and/or insulting, and if I'm not in the mood for it, I can avoid seeing it at all.

Indeed...

And yeah, I'm the guy who special orders the unsalted dry baked potato at the Outback Steak House.

Sorry to disappoin ya all! ;)

Jeez,Greg ... by the time you're done decorating a potato, it's practically a nacho. And damn if that's not what I want now!

Hold the popcorn!

Generally when I chow down I go big.

Hugs,

Greg

Personally I thought the food component of this thread made the most sense. As I mentioned above I may not like my potatoes "dressed to the nines" as does Greg, but I do like my potatoes BIG, and I like to cow down BIG as well! So no need to decorate my potato... Just give me TWO and I'm happy. Also, while your at it throw in a sweet potato as well and I'll be like that proverbial pig in shit. See, I am a bit fun... After all... Really!

Now to get back on topic. I have never tried the ignore button with the current system. You all are such a hoot why would I think of doing that?! I did try it once quite a while ago when the forum was using a older system and it kept informing me that the weasel with whom I wanted no contact was posting something that I was missing out on. That seemed to defeat the whole purpose. Oh, and speaking of permanent time out. He must be on permanent time out because there has been no trace of that person for eons!

I think I understood what the OP meant, and yes I have a handful of people on "ignore" here. It just makes perusing the forum a bit more pleasurable if I don't have to see threads and comments from certain posters that annoy me. Lately it's those throwing around a certain term they think is cute, yet I find offensive.

Now if only there was an "ignore" button for television commercials that annoy the crap out of me!

Anybody else notice that it's been 24 hours since the OP last contributed to this thread? I guess he's ignoring all of us.

Oh well, one less face to feed at our snack food banquet. :)

Having made use of the information he shared, I was blissfully ignorant of his lack of posting. Nonetheless, I thank you for the update. Perhaps he drowned in a pool of his own bile-infused vitriol.
