Maybe the I love you was meant for someone else. Maybe he's two timing you.

 

Considering I had told him only 6 hours before while staring directly into his eyes and making sure he was looking directly at me that I was only looking for a FB or FWB (this was in response to him telling me he had never met anyone like me), I was wondering if he had decided he was no longer interested, and this was the best way to be rid of me. But nah-no one who has experienced me could ever want to get rid of me. And had I mentioned my poop doesn't smell either?

My inclination would be explain once, tell him you will cut off communication after that, then stick to it, but only if necessary. If he doesn't follow up on his "I love you" text, no need to stress over it.
