Is it typical for an escort to request a pic in advance to determine services offered and applicable rates? I just responded to a Backpage ad, and the guy said we could talk about details after he saw my pic. A little hesitant to send to some random person. Also, would the addition of a pic in a Rentmen profile for a client be useful or of any benefit when contacting escorts?

That is not typical of exceptional companions. On a few occasions, I have provided a pic either unprompted or upon request for a proposed meeting, usually longer than an overnight, where I seek more clues as to our compatibility. But if I perceived that the pic would be used by him to determine which services he could offer or to set his fee, then we would never meet.

 

I have a rentmen profile, with 2 private pics, which can be helpful in some of the preliminary back-and-forth. Premium rentmen users can view your private pics without your prior consent, which is why I do not keep a face pic on the profile.

It is not typical at all. Maybe is a newbie who needs a picture to feel confident about his ability to provide the service you are requesting, but I would be very careful. I have never been asked for a picture before meeting.

I have never been asked by any of the top shelf guys, but I have mentioned before that I usually send one just so they know the right person is opening the front door. I did hire one guy who admitted, that had I not sent one, he would have asked for it. He was very candid that he did have some limitations that impacted his ability to perform. His attitude was that he would rather decline an appointment rather than half-ass it. (Or soft-dick it as it were.)

 

It's certainly not ideal, and props to the escorts that can make it work for everyone, but at least he was being honest.

I might subtly wheedle and cajole you into sending me additional pics if you already had some public pics that piqued my interest, but I wouldn't demand pics. Ideally, we'll meat up and I'll get to enjoy the real thing anyways, which is way better than just collecting the pics.

I ask for pics not to determine rates lol but its to know its the correct person I'm meeting at the door. Lord knows there's so many flakes and time wasters but this is just an extra safety measure. Especially if its someone who's coming to MY home, I don't need any drama happening where I sleep. If its a hotel/their place I have a bit more leniency, I only ask for their cell phone if meeting there, if they don't want to give a face picture. However most guys send a face pic if you kindly ask.

 

Sometimes I send a picture on my own initiative. But I would be wary if asked to do so by an escort unless they explained exactly why they were requesting the pic.

I like to be somewhat upfront when contacting an escort and always ask if they have any age or build restrictions. I read some of the reviews where clients have had bad experiences with escorts based on age, weight, etc. I like to find out in advance to avoid any unpleasantness or disappointment (for either party). It's generally met with a request for details and specifics, but the pic request was out of the blue.

I have never requested a picture from a client, have I been offered pictures yes. When offered I simply say it is not required and that is up to you if you would like to send one. I have often wonder why some escorts do ask, I saw a few responses in this thread. In my opinion when escorting one can't have a particular "type", because men come in all shapes, sizes, looks, etc. I am not sure why anyone would ask for a picture to determine how much they charge for the hour, an hour of time is an hour of time regardless of who its with. I will say I have had clients send me pics, and ask for discounts because they feel they are the "typical" client, either because of their, age, looks, cock size, what they are into, etc. My response is my rate is based on my time and nothing more, I do appreciate you contacting me and would love to meet, but I don't discount my rate.

Wow, for anyone to need a picture of you to determine rates and services is ridiculous. I would move on and not pay any attention to that person. I am open-minded and like everyone of all races and sizes, man or woman. I understand people have preferences... but seriously? That is basically saying you look like this so I have to charge you this... Smh.
