I think I remember hearing about this story awhile back. Very cute.

 

But it also reminds me of my former cat, who would hunt baby rats (despite being a generally beautiful city, Seattle is completely infested with rats) and bring back their decapitated heads for me as a gift. While I loved her dearly, that was not so cute.

A cat of mine (not the current one) kept finding dead, desiccated field mice in the basement and brought them upstairs until the supply ran out. That's probably better than the heads of recently deceased rats, though.
