Spell Checker can't Help

Yes, I can read it!!!

Here's another trick of Doctor Dementia to test your skills...

Can you meet this challenge?

We've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time we've seen it with numbers. Good example of a Brain Study: If you can read this OUT LOUD you have a strong mind. And better than that: Alzheimer's is a long long, way down the road before it ever gets anywhere near you.

To my 'selected' strange-minded friends: If you can read the following paragraph, forward it on to your friends with 'yes' in the subject line. Only great minds can read this. This is weird, but interesting!

If you can raed this, you have a sgtrane mnid, too.

Can you raed this? Olny 55 people out of 100 can.

I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt! If you can raed this forwrad it.

FORWARD ONLY IF YOU CAN READ IT..

Me too. I was able to read it all quickly so I feel better about aging. If only it were that easy. One side of the family all died young (not one getting out of their 70s), while the other side of the family have all lived close to 100. I guess it's a flip of the coin for me. At least I'll know (I hope) what's going on.

Both exercises looked pretty easy.

Chain emails aren't known for discouraging people from forwarding them. I'm guessing the percentage of people who can decode both exercises is far higher than 50%. I also wonder whether success on the first exercise implies that "Alzheimer's is a long long, way down the road before it ever gets anywhere near you." Then again, if Alzheimer's wasn't "a long long way down the road" for me, I'd be in bad shape.

If only ONE test could definitively prove our resistance to dementia, senility or other mind destroyers, I would be ecstatic.

Not convinced I"ll be lucid when I'm 100, but it was fun to play. And oh yes, I could read both easily.

Well I could read both easily as well, but right afterwards I was looking for my cell phone and couldn't find it. It was right in front of me and I never saw it. I'm not sure what that is indicative of, but something tells me that it ain't something good! Well, at least I can read gibberish, but I'm not sure if that's necessarily a "plus"!

Come to think of it probably not as I really hate wearing them around the house! However, I always wear my glassing when flogging a sub! Lesson learned from being on the receiving end when a certain working guy ;) was not wearing his and it was quite dark in the venue where we were playing! ;)
