If I was in the house with Jase I would have been ejected for punching him out! He gets on my nerves! Scott was quite cute, but Drew is definitely hot, I also think Will is a cutie tooo! I must disagree on one thing I didn't think Drew's brother was hotter I thought Drew was but I wouldn't throw either out of bed.

If Nicomas (jennifers)plan works it will be great to see Jase crap his pants if it doesn't I can only hope Marvin will go. I want Will to win now! Mostly so when we start dating he will have a nice litte nest egg ;-)

Me thinks the lady a looser

That plan is much too convoluted and is very poor gamesmanship IMO. Although there is some chance it will work there is great potential that it won't. Too much faith put in the hands of others for no advantage, just hoped-for theatrics. Instead of getting rid of either of two major threats with certainty she opted for a 'maybe' of getting rid of one but only with the help of an as yet unknown immunity winner and the majority of the house. She violated the first rule of these games: Control your own destiny, do not put it in the hands of others unless there is no choice.

RE: Me thinks the lady a looser

I don't agree it was poor gamesmanship to rid the house of Jase. Although his alliance is now in the minority, he's a constant threat by virtue of his ability to win the competitions. (And yes, if someone were to win the veto and not use it, Marvin would be gone instead, but I don't think that's a likely scenario.) But more important to me, it's great television to see the ass get his comeuppance. The alliances over the next weeks will be in constant flux and we may (will) come to hate those we now are finding to be the good 'guys,' but I am enjoying very much the turnabout drama. And I'm perfectly okay with watching the shirtless Drew and Will parade around instead of the testosterone twins.

A tangled web... or is it Machievelli

You missed my point. IMO Jase is the top priority to go and Marvin is second. Putting both up would have guaranteed that one left. Now neither is up and there is NO guarantee that either will be up. Cards have to fall right, not once but three times... uh, and she is not dealing those cards.

First someone has to win Immunity and give it up to save one of the stooges put in place. From where I sit, Jase and Marvin will be strong competitors for immunity -- oops! Plan could go awry here either because the wrong guy wins.

Assuming the immunity challenge goes according to plan and a sympathetic player wins immunity, one stooge is safe -- maybe -- leaving one at risk. Now the saved stooge has to pick Jase -- the second hurdle. Plan could go awry here because the right guy wins but decides to keep it to cover his/her ass. (Both stooges remain on the block.) I dont believe that there is a hard and fast monolithic majority. The game and players are fluid.

If that hurdle is crossed then finally a majority has to vote for Jase -- the third hurdle. See fluid remark above.

Finally, if this strategy fails then one of the stooges, presumably an ally, gets eliminated thus adding insult to true injury.

Yes this plan is very convoluted and all apparently to give Jase a false sense of security leading to complacency. And all for giving up an almost SURE elinination of either Jase or Marvin. I doubt it will diminish Jase's quest for immunity. It may change his lobbying strategy some but either way he will argue to save HIS ass whatever he says. In the end this strategy may work but this is not the type of strategy I take to Vegas or to moon launches. Too many if's... KISS. Of course if this works then the plan is brilliant... or lucky maybe. But then they are often the same. :7

RE: A tangled web... or is it Machievelli

I think you’ve got your games confused. It’s Survivor that has immunity that can be kept or given away.

In this game they have a ‘Veto’ competition where the winner can choose to veto the eviction of one of the two nominees (including themselves) or just leave the nominations alone. If the veto is used, the head of household gets to choose another nominee.

Only six players compete in the veto competition – the HOH, the two nominees and a ‘champion’ chosen by each. The problem with nominating Jase is that allows him to compete in the veto competition and he has won it almost every time. Then he is off the block and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

Their plan is to shut him out of the veto competition and then, whoever wins it will take someone off the block and the HOH will replace that person with Jase. He’ll be helpless at that point.

It is a little complicated but really very devious. Unless the female alliance really betrays each other, about the worst that can happen is someone chooses not to use the veto and then Marvin gets the boot.

That's exactly right, phage. Marvin is actually up for eviction already this week, so even if he wins veto and saves himself, Nikomos (what a moniker) puts up Jase in his place. If someone deviates from the plan and chooses not to use the veto, Marvin will go. Either way, one of them will be gone Thursday. I'm liking Marvin a bit more these days, so I hope Jase packs up his dumbells for his trip home. I can already hear his backpeddling during his eviction interview about how he's really not the asshole he portrayed himself to be in the house. Can't wait.

Well, things are looking up in the house. Drew finally grew a back bone and set things in motion to get rid of Blondie.

I wonder how much money could Drew and his identicle twin brother charge if they escorted together??? I know I would cash in some of my investments for that sweet meat. :9

Oh and did anybody else notice Drew's meat flopping around in his shorts when he was laying in bed talking? He is nicely blessed.

BB5 was tape delayed for CBS viewers in NY because the Yanks were on. What a disaster of a game, the Rangers beat them bad! But CBS is showing bb5 after Kilbourne's Late Late show, approx. 1:30ish. in the AM

I'll be up for it, now that i know what to look for. Drew's cute, but a bit of a pushover. If Will could just keep quiet, I'd settle for him. The accent just kills it.

c'est la vie.

It's a shame Jase finally put the pieces together and realized the house was conspiring to oust him. It was great fun watching him in the diary room explaining how he was 'getting over' on everyone else in the house. I wasn't clear on why they wanted Drew to win the veto since there was the possibility he may decide to not use it and then Jase wouldn't be nominated. But it went as planned and was gratifying to witness. With the real BAD guys gone, it will be interesting to see if the next weeks are as fun as the past two. (BTW, I think Will's Mississippi drawl is kinda sexy. Certainly the hottest gay guy BB's had to date-remember the crying bald guy and lovely Marcellas?) And I agree the Drew/Ben twins would be set for life if they ever decided to go the escort route-but with all the Bible reading, somehow I don't see that happening-damn)C'mon, Thursday!

OK, today's episode of Big Brother revealed the Twins' decision to desolve their alliance with the girls and build new ones. Just when I was getting use to Girl Power, family ties seem to rule.

For the first time, Will really had me going. He looked Yummie in that Thong. If only he were a Butch Top.:9

Tuesday Night's episode of BigBrother 5 revealed some interesting tidbits about Drew: he is evidently a "no-hair" fetishist. It showed him shaving his face, admitting that he shaved his armpits and chest, and then cuddling in bed with Diane, the two of them reveal in a cutsey way that he shaves-----"down there" as well. I'd be interested in hearing what other BigBrother groupies think :)))

Oh, Drew was also shown plucking his eyebrows. He's a recent college grad, so I'm assuming he is in his early '20s, from Urbana, Ohio---not a metropolitan area. If there are others in that age group reading this, please comment---typical of all men that age? Unusual for that age? Metrosexual behaviour? Conjecture????

I certainly wouldn't say it's typical of all men that age, but I also wouldn't say it's unusual, either. It seems like a number of young, college aged guys who are into their bodies also happen to be adverse to body hair (at least on their chest). Just watch a bunch of MTV spring break videos and you will see what I mean.

I, for one, am quite pleased to see this phenomenon. I must say that one of my biggest gripes with having sex with college aged guys is their lack of grooming in the nether regions area. It seems to me that a lot of younger guys haven't quite begun to realize that you can do a little trimming in those fun places, too. They have their hair on their heads all groomed and shaped to perfection, but then their pubic hair is just out of control.

A simple rule of thumb is, if your pubic hair on your balls and around your dick is actually longer than your cock, you should trim it! }(

While in there separately, the girls tried to portray themselves as 'good ol' girls' with whom an alliance was possible. Together in the house, the real Adria/Natalie characters are emerging and they 'ain't that appealing'...One can only hope Will survives the vote and someone gets HOH and removes one of the evil twins next week. You can bet it will be a rallying point for the rest of the house. I'm liking Marvin more each week, but I want our boy Will in there to provide the 'bitchy' commentary we love so much. As far as the hair-thing, give me a smooth or furry Drew and I'm be a satisfied boy. ;-)

RE: Drew Shaves His Pubes

I was also surprised by this revelation and wishing I could see for myself. Not sure if this is a metrosexual thing but it's something I certainly didn't think would be revealed.

Not for the big question. I wonder if Drew's twin also shaves? If they are doing another "hide the twin" thingy then his twin would also have to be shaved. OMG, maybe they shave each other's ass. What a fantasy. }(

Just when I thought I had someone to cheer for, the twins turn into monsters. I know it is a game, but they are really loving the power now, and it shows.

The whole Drew shaving EVERYWHERE thing is a bit suspect. It wouldn't be so surprising down here in South Beach or in NYC or LA. But in middle America, that is kind of unusual for a straight uy his age.

Makes you want to go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm;)

SouthBeachBtm---

You have articulated what was in the back of my mind when I first mentioned the Drew shaving thing---if he had been from NYC or LA or Miami Beach or Montreal, I wouldn't have been surprised. But a recent college grad from Urbana, Ohio, sort of threw me and made me go "Hummmmm." also. I realise that young men, twenty-somethings and younger are much more aware of their appearance, bodies, hair, etc., than the older generations of so-called "straight guys," but I wasn't aware that shaving "everywhere" was part of this "body routine." Although I guess with women being so loathe to have body hair anywhere, I shouldn't be surprised that young guys would adopt a similar practice.

Do you think the DNA--Do Not Assume twists are over?? If they brought in Drew's twin I'd be ecstatic. Agree with another poster that the Adria/Natalie twins need to be "slapped down." I know it's a regional bias of mine, but that Georgia twang gets very old :((

Will's parting words to Adria (as well as the twins worried faces for the rest of the show) were priceless. It's gonna be a stinkin' house full of fish in a few weeks. I really thought Will would be in until the final weeks. But his prophetic words to Adria will be playing out very quickly this week. }(

Hopefully, the "fish" will not vote Drew out for a couple of more weeks---otherwise there will be NO ONE for me to fantasize about :))

Karen's strategy is interesting--the only presently married houseguest, allies herself with the gay guy, and flies below the radar most of the time. Was it last week when the other houseguests called her crazy? She does have a strange look in her eyes at times---very, very scary--I wouldn't want her as an enemy.

Well the Gay Blade has been stabbed in the back. He was a nice guy and played fair. However he shouldn't be too angry, after all he was plotting to get rid of the twins long before they decided to get rid of him. I wonder if they got word from one of the others in the house that he was plotting against them???

I am so ready to watch Nakomis put the twins up for eviction. She has turned out to be a savvy player winning two HOH's now and making alliances. You go Girl.

For the record, Drew lost a few points with me when I found out he shaved everywhere. Clipping or trimming the lawn is OK, but removing all of it is a turn off for me. A man should have at least a little hair down there. It's so sexy.
