I am old enough to have seen Judy Garland perform in person three times in the 1960s.

But, I have never seen "The Wizatd of Oz," so am confused (perhaps more than others).

At least, I know the song "Over the Rainbow."

An alphabetized version of the entire film, titles too:

certainly a unique project for some bored, out-of-work, creative techie to busy himself with.....I wonder how long it actually took to complete....

it bit me for a bit and I ended up hoping all over the video.....some surprising twists here and there

That is more amazing to me than the alphabetized video!

It's because I saw Judy Garland perform in person so early in my life (1961). So I also thought of her as an adult, not a child in "The Wizard of Oz." Added later: To me, Judy Garland was a singer much more than an actress, even though I now know it was not true.

Granted it does not make much sense, but it's the only reason I can imagine.

IDK this obvs took much effort and skill but to me when PPL take a classic and tweek edit for some purpose it needs to be REALLY clever with some definite purpose. (The BEST I ever saw was a trailer for the classic "The Shining". They took NOTHING but the original trailer changed the music re-cut it and made it a trailer for a very sweet loving Father and Son coming-of-age story :D TOTALLY convincing! (guess this explains why EVERY movie looks interesting when based JUST on the trailer)

I love those recut trailers, and that's one of my favorites.
