I'm glad no one was seriously injured. I don't know which town this cave's located in, but I know the town where the Scout leader is from, and it's in an area known to be frequented by bears. (Though you could probably say that for north and central New Jersey in general.)

 

This is one of those situations in which bad stuff happens without it being anyone's (or any bear's) fault.

If there is, I think I've earned that one already!

I have been both the mauler and maulee. :p

 

I like to take a refresher course as often as possible just to keep my skills up. ;)
