Im going to LA for 2 weeks!

I'm headed to LA for (Thanks to my friends who love me so dearly as to pay for me to go w/ them on vacation for 2 weeks ~~)

 

Talk about an awesome b-day present.

 

Not sure what exactly we are going to be doing for the whole two weeks... yay!

 

First real vacation for me... ~

 

I'll make sure to take lots of pictures and maybe share them (some maybe?)... hmmm..

 

 

 

Anyone here know LA well, what's all the hotspots. Things to do? Clubs maybe(good days etc..) (age req's too) and good places to shop, etc...? Maybe chill with someone?? (not like I know the area well )

 

I'm sure one of my friends know LA well... but I just want to get the downlow from someone who's family (;-))

Jaden, glad that you're taking the time to be with your friends for your birthday. Spending time in LA can be fun. You already know about Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Raging Waters ( lots of hott young guys ), Knotts Berry Farm, Queen Mary, etc. You might want to try a place called " Numbers " made famous by the Hooville gatherings. It's a really nice place to relax and have fun. If you want to try clubs, you can never go wrong with the " Viper Room ". I know a couple of bouncers who could get you in without having to wait in line. There are a ton of rave clubs up in LA, mainly targeted to the twenty something crowd. Places to eat, Maggiano's, that's a good place to eat, Graumons Chinese, great place to catch celebreties and right outside the " Hollywood Walk Of Fame ". These are just some of the places of interest.

 

If you're looking for places outside the LA, North Hollywood area. There is an area called Orange County, just south of LA by forty minutes by drive. There is a town called Huntington Beach and recenty in the last couple of years, it has become a friendly gay hot spot. There are a couple of gay resorts and you can't go wrong with the beach itself. Lots of surfers, Kelly Slater, Paul Walker ( Fast and the Furious ) and Toby Lehman ( he's a good surfer, if fact he's in an ad in the current issue of Rolling Stone Magazine pozing for Levi's and he's a total hottie ). I shoot pool with him for money every once in a while. I cream the guy. Speaking of Paul Walker he has a nice place out there. I've met the guy, even done some scuba diving with him. He's totally cool, I know him because one of his roomates is a surfer buddy of mine. These guys spend a lot of time in Huntington Beach.

 

These are only a handful places and people that might be of interest to you and your buddies. You'll be hearing from other posters and then you will get a much wider variety of places to choose from. Good luck to you Jaden and kick back, have a couple of kegs and enjoy the surf and sun while you're in LA.

To refresh and stimulate your mind and soul, go to a concert at the new Walt Disney Symphony Hall or visit the Cathedral of LA. Lots of great art museums - LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), Getty Museum on its own mountain top, Museum of Contemporary Art, Norton Simon Museum and Huntington Library, Museums, and Gardens in Pasadena.
