What is this stuff? I heard that it can intensify your orgasm and increase the amount of cum a person shoots? Is this true? Has anyone had any experience with this? If this is the case then where does one get the stuff.

This has already been discussed. If the previous information was not lost in the recent crash, it should be still there.

HGW is similar to viagra but is suppose to be natural. I took some 2 yrs ago; it enhanced my encounter with a hot NYC escort. I only took it that one time and let it go by the wayside before tossing it!

Horny Goat Weed is pretty fun. =oP

Basically, it's a herb that I believe was discovered when somebody noticed that goats eating it were much more sexually active, hence the name. (No joke.)

I take this stuff (along with some other sexual herb compounds), and I can tell you SOMETHING's making a big difference...

It seems to be the Horny Goat Weed's biggest benefit is increased libido. I truly believe it increases desire for sex (which in turn makes for better sex and easier erections, etc.).

The kind I take is from GNC (also available at drugstore.com). Many other manufacturers make it too (Pinncale's one...there are lots others). GNC's also has something called Maca in it (a Peruvian food also used to boost sexual functioning) and I believe something else as well. Recommended dosage is two a day for daily supplementation, but you can also take 3-4 before sex for a horniness boost.

Around the same time I started this, I also started another GNC product called ArginMax. It's a formula of herbs (Ginseng and Ginkgo Biloba mainly) and some amino acids, particularly L-Arginine, as well as key vitamins that improve sexual functioning.

I can say the combination of these two products has DEFINITELY made a difference for me, and I don't think it's psychological. I'm hornier, have more frequent (especially nocturnal) and harder erections, and I think cum volume has indeed increased. I've even had a few sexual dreams, which are very rare for me. Now, I don't gush like I'd like to (to be perfectly honest, I was hoping cum volume would increase even more and I'd shoot like a porn star), and I still don't shoot as far as I'd like to (these two things were one of my goals), but the benefits are definitely there, and I really like the products and the hardness they give me. (I got hard before, but not this firm and not this easily...my shyness seemed to interfere, but these seemed to have legitimately helped).

Anyways, I really don't feel these are snake oil. =o) Hope this helps answer your question.

Oh, and these are very safe as well. They can mess SLIGHTLY with your blood pressure (most of it can lower it if you have already low pressure; ginseng can raise it in some people).

What you DO probably want to avoid is anything with something called Yohimbe in it, as that can be dangerous and raise blood pressure dramatically. (The products I mentioned above do not have this in them.)

Miss Trix, ever the botany nut, has found the following about Horny Goat Weed:

It's real name is Epimedium grandiflorum, E. sagittatum, and other Epimedium species which grow in the central and southern mountains of China.

Epimediums are in the family Berberidaceae, which includes the Oregon Grape (the state flower of Oregon).

They are evergreen or deciduous perennials.

It is wild-harvested, however only the leaves are picked, during the spring and fall. Although it is not farmed anywhere, the various species are not considered threatened by over-harvesting (not that you horny goats would care about such things).

It has a documented history in Chinese medicine going back some 2000 years.

It is considered quite safe to use, even western watchdogs have found nothing wrong with it.

As la Guptasa noted,in packaged form it is frequently mixed with other herbs, mostly from South America. Much less is known about many of these herbs (some are closely related to the plant from which cocaine comes from, others are well-documented as causing elevated blood pressure.), so perhaps it's best to look for "pure" HGW (Epimedium).

I happen to have several Epimedium plants in my garden... I'm gonna give it a try!

Thanks for the added information. =o) I just wanted to mention GNC's formulation which has Maca in it should be safe. I've done a bit of research on Maca, and it's not a danger at all (in fact, it's even used as a food).

Now, GNC does also have a product called Maca Man, which DOES have Yohimbe in it, so I avoid that one. As Trixie pointed out, watch some of those combos. But I do feel some of them are okay - just do your research on everything in them and watch your body for changes.
