Just dropping this here to prove my point that women of all colors and stripes get shit from men who are offended that they're influential and believed because men are taught to believe the world revolves around them:

Trouble at the Koolaid Point

Here's more proof:

As a friend cogently observed, "White men don't write the majority of books in publishing. It didn't pass the sniff test that they'd write the majority of the best books." (Courtney Milan)

Or as I said, "Let me cry biracial Asian white lady tears. The way the headline is framed in terms of loss is telling."

I believe it is the first link to which rvwsnd is referring; I have revised it: http://seriouspony.com/trouble-at-the-koolaid-point/

It is a long read, but very interesting and disturbing. I had no idea how many deep and dark internet-trolling options there are. One option being "doxxing," described in the Urban Dictionary as "Doxxing, by way of "name-dropping," is document (doxx) dropping. It's publicly exposing someone's real name or address on the Internet who has taken pains to keep them secret. Also spelled "doxing."

In this article I was particularly shaken by the attack on the epilepsy forums.

Thank you for the post QTR.

Thank you for the post, QTR.

You're welcome. Thank you for fixing that link. Doxxing is a huge concern among women who are active on the internet. Men don't get doxxed or threatened with rape or murder, or the rape or murder of their families. Outspoken women regularly are. There's no fix other than getting off the internet, going into hiding, or moving.

It's like living under a fatwa.
