I left St. Augustine yesterday afternoon. The plan was to stay at the airport hotel last night makeing the 6am flight easier to catch. Well, I caught it, but after taking my seat, and just a few short minutes before they closed the door to the aircraft, a young woman was asking for volunteers to be bumped. I had heard rumors of this practice, but with the intention of extending my vacation one more day, I raised my hand.

I sit here in the Residence Inn (paid for by United) with a first class ticket departing tomorrow, a free round trip ticket , and 5,000 frequent flier miles added to my account. The down side? My condoms, lube, porn and clothing are now sitting in the terminal at LAX. Oh well, maybe some local will feel sorry for me and bring the condoms and lube for us to have sex....hey , it could happen... }(

It's funny that Jackhammer mentioned his over booked flight.
