I think if you're hiring for an extended period of good time, certainly for more than an hour or 2, you should be able to get an escort from LA to join you. But the drive from LA to Laguna Beach is somewhat of a drive....seems like constant heavy traffic on the 405 frwy.....unless he drives to you at 2am.

If the escort has a Fast trac, the Toll Road can save a great deal of time. Depending on where you are staying, it sometimes is quicker to come in "the back way" down Crown Valley Parkway than go through town; this will bring the escort to Coast Highway on the South edge of town; if you are staying at The montage, Ritz Carlton or St Regis this could be quicker than coming down Laguna Canyon road. There are only three ways into town: Laguna Canyon road (two lanes and winding), Coast Highway from the North and Coast Highway from the South.

 

When I am there, I find that escorts in San Diego are often more willing to come to Laguna than those in LA; San Diego can be about 45 minutes if traffic is decent while Hollywood takes at least twice as long; much just depends on traffic and can be very hit or miss.

 

Lots of great places to eat. You are "off season" so traffic should not be too bad and the restaurants not too crowded. Lots of eye candy o the beach.
