I've booked the travelling pack a couple of times over the past few years. It's a strange arrangement - they seem to share crealell phones and they always send pictures of guys that aren't them but are kinda similar (white and athletic). The pictures that Sean Andrews using are of a guy that used to travel with them who I did book a couple times, and he was really really hot - actually hotter than the pictures he was using to lure clients. But it seems like he doesn't anymore.

As far as the experience goes, the guys are legitimately good looking, and they come off as straight - you just don't know who you're going to get since they don't send their own photos. They ask you for cash up front, because they upcharge the crap out of you during the session and some of them are real pushy salesmen.

Does anyone know what happened to Irish69 aka Rentmen Rick?

~ Boomer ~

Good question. I was just checking on the search bar when you posted that, and he's not listed as a member anymore

I just checked. Irish69 (Rick) is still a member. But he hasn't posted since August, and he hasn't signed in since September 22. I might surmise that since the Rentboy Fiasco that he is keeping a lower profile. But that's just conjecture.

All three ads are now also running on Men4RentNow.com. I just emailed M4RN (for what it is worth, and I suspect not very much) the following message:

Hello, I have every reason to believe that three ads currently running on M4RNow are part of a single scam.

MikeReeves786

SeanAndrew1993

TobyGooden

They, if indeed there are three persons, are traveling as a team. They started out in LA, are now in SF and are moving on to Sacramento, Portland and Seattle. Both my attempts to contact them combined with extremely negative feedback from other members of Daddy's Reviews Forum have led me to conclude that these ads constitute fraudulent and possibly criminal activity. All three are also advertising on Rentmen.com. There is clear evidence that these guys are not who they say they are and are in collusion to defraud potential clients.

M4RN is not very responsive by my experience. I recently emailed them asking whether there was a way to tell if ads were expired or not as the Contact Information Box no longer seems to be covered up on expired ads since their last update. I never received a response back.

Well, grey, I really appreciate your sharing this. You are far more courageous than I for sure. I will be on the lookout for the pack so I can run in the opposite direction!

Grey, thank you. Your post really pulls together all the bits and pieces of information that have emerged over the past several weeks. What you say explains the questions and contradictions perfectly. Now that we have a clear picture of what exactly is going on here, I suppose we can put the matter to rest.

I disagree, Despardo. Grey joined the forum yesterday. He has one post. On the face of it, he joined the forum for the purpose of making one post defending three escorts engaging in a set of behaviors that to me still seems completely impossible to believe, and that he himself says are dishonest.

I also find it questionable, to put it politely, that an escort (Sean) would use fake pictures to lure clients when it turns out he is "hotter than the pictures he was using." That really makes no sense to me. It reminds me of Sean's one review, which asserts that a client paid money to sit and be "mersmerized" by a straight guy and take him to dinner. Yeah, right!

I suppose I could ask Grey why he suddenly joined the forum to make one post about a very suspect group of escorts. I suspect he'd have some good answers, like he has been following this website for years, and reads it, but doesn't post ever, but suddenly felt compelled to in order to defend a group of escorts who in his own words are not the people in the pictures they use to advertise.

On the face of it, this just makes the whole thing sound worse. It provides further proof that the guys are scamming by using fake pictures. It also raises questions about what Laars said. If we assume Grey is correct, and all three guys are different than the guys in the photos, how is it possible that Laars could confirm that they matched with their own government i.d.'s.

I posted it on the other thread on Fake Ads On Rentmen, but here is the recent reply i got from Laars at Rentmen on Sean/Mike/Toby:

We have received government issued ID's and performed phone verification's

on all three. We will continue to monitor. Thank you for your concern as

we too share a joint commitment to the community.

Either Laars or Grey are wrong. Something very wrong is going on here.

Except that it is consistent with a report by another poster, who didn't defend the trio (when they were using a different set of names and photos). This is not exactly a new scam.

http://m4m-forum.org/threads/411-on-ryanrubs19-travelling-the-us-currently-in-sfo.99156/#post-912858

There was at least one other post in the past (which I haven't been able to locate) that the trio uses pictures that aren't their own even though they are equally good looking.

I posted in the other thread, but nowadays its so easy to fake a copy of an id. Scan an Id. Take a photo, scan photo, resize photo, cut and paste and insert new photo, edit the names and numbers in the id to match what you want, save document, send to Laars as proof.

I would be very interested in what they consider a government id, and what the id looked like that was obtained.

For what it's worth, I think I probably ran into these guys (this guy?) or another similar pack about a year ago.

Three hot fratboy types (by their ads and pics -- not the same pics that these guys are using, but that doesn't mean anything) were visiting for the same dates. I realized that they were probably travelling together, but there's nothing wrong with that. I made an appointment with the one I liked best (incall at his Best Western), and showed up. When he opened the door it was obvious that he wasn't the guy in the pics. I said so and said he shouldn't do that, but he was still fairly attractive (but a very different type), and I thought we could go ahead anyway so as not to waste the opportunity. So I started to undress, and he was off to the side munching a sandwich, and still fully clothed. I don't begrudge the guy a sandwich if he was hungry, but it was strange and not exactly a good sign that he was doing that. (Also, when I called him from the lobby at the appointed time as instructed in order to get the room number, he had me wait there for over 10 minutes and call him again to get the number. And then he was still starting to eat a sandwich after I came in??) After I was down to only briefs and while he was still fully clothed, he asked for the money up front. I said I don't do that, but if he was worried I would show him that I had it. He insisted, and at that point I decided that this wasn't going to work. I told him that and got dressed again. While doing that I was trying to tell him that he would do better with a different attitude and M.O., but he kept repeating "Get out, bud... get out, bud..." over and over in a loud voice, drowning me out, and he slammed the door behind me.

I also had an experience with a pack much like this one. A year or two ago. Also, three "hot fratboy types" staying in a semi seedy motel. I picked the one I liked best and made an appointment. Showed up, definitely wasn't the guy pictured, but he was still good looking. Not as good looking as the picture, but good enough to where I proceeded. Rate was advertised as $120.

He immediately asked for the money upfront. I declined. We debated a little. Finally, I agreed to give him half upfront (only $60 so not a huge deal) and the rest at the end. He agreed.

The massage was weak, but he did get naked and allowed touching/release. Immediately he started offering upgrades, starting with oral for an extra $100 , and hinted at more. I declined. He was nice and talked about himself, admitted he travels with a group that uses fake pics. Said all the guys are straight.

Wasn't a terrible experience for $120. But with so many hot gay guys offering a real massage and a real sensual experience for the same amount... I wouldn't go back with the pack.

This thread has been going on so long that I think people haven't read the initial posts.

Azdr-wrote that he did get some current pictures of SeanAndrew. They weren't as good as the pictures he advertised with.

http://www.companyofmen.org/threads/this-traveling-pack-has-me-concerned.108007/#post-1006459

But in general I wonder why we are still talking about them. I'd say there seems to be enough evidence in aggregate from these 4 pages of posts that these guys are perpetrating some kind of scam. The odds are even if by some chance they provide any hands on experience, it's going to be minimal. And there is probably a much greater chance that they will take any monies offered and run-both literally and figuratively. On top of that there is a concern about safety.

We often talk about not thinking with our little heads on here-I think this is a great case in point. A lot of us seem to want them to be real because of how attractive they are. But the evidence seems to indicate that even if they are the guys in the pictures, they aren't going to live up to what most of us expect. There is the old saying that 'handsome is as handsome does'. But in this case apparently ''handsome doesn't'' unless "does" equates to wanting to be scammed.

I concur that the nature of this particularly long running scam has now been pretty thoroughly documented: pictures are fake, actual guys though sketchy are young and straight, services performed (if any) are minimal, price gouging during session, generally unprofessional behavior. For a bad time, call: Sean/Mike/Toby/Whomever.

So here is a cut and paste summary of what we think we know about Sean/Mike/Toby based on people who claim to have actually hired them - 2 for sure (Grey and Daddy-big, and 2 possibly - Milkman and needbodywork). In addition, Despardo says that both Sean and Mike had bad (one star) reviews that were quickly removed on Men 4RentNow, presumably because they let advertisers remove bad reviews. In summary, Sean/Mike/Toby is a fiction that is being used by a scammer or set of scammers. Sean/Mike/Toby is based on fake photos and disreputable practices. 100 % of the feedback and advice of the people who hired them can be summarized as negative.

The pictures that Sean Andrews using are of a guy that used to travel with them who I did book a couple times, and he was really really hot - actually hotter than the pictures he was using to lure clients. But it seems like he doesn't anymore.

you just don't know who you're going to get since they don't send their own photos

They ask you for cash up front, because they upcharge the crap out of you during the session and some of them are real pushy salesmen.

Mike Reeves got a 1 star rating on M4RN stating that he did not match his pictures. The 1 star stayed on his ad for about 4 days, then vanished. About a day later, the guys moved on to Salt Lake City, where Sean's ad got a 1 star (did not match picture, did not perform desired services) rating. That was a few days ago. I did not know that Sean's rating had since been dropped from M4RN.

OK...I'll admit it...when the group was here in MSP, I booked them. It was a special occasion and I ordered up 3 of them. I got to their hotel, texted for the room number as we had agreed and waited for 35 minutes for a response. Finally got a room number and was told the door would be open and to just walk in. I had red flags going off everywhere but I was intrigued with 3 hot young boys. I got in the room which was totally dark and there were 2 cute boys, not 3. They were hot but didn't look like the picture at all. They asked for the money up front, another red flag. they stripped and told me to get naked and lay down. They kept asking me if I wanted more than a massage, another red flag flipped me over and kept pushing their dicks in my face and telling me to suck and that we discuss price later. Anyway, I didn't. I got up, got dressed and left feeling a little stupid but generally relieved. Stay away....

Here is my suggestion to all of you:

Sean Andrews 347-761-1929

Mike Reeves 954-299-5979

Toby Gooden 619-990-1929

Text or call one or all of these three today based on the ads in the thread just above this and tell them you want to hire them. Then ask them to send you a selfie. If they refuse ask again and tell them it's because you read on a thread that they may not match there photos. Report what happens here. I will do the same.

This is how I got Robbyy to flame out and got his ad deleted from Rentmen. (It helped that his pictures were easy to identify as fake on Google reverse image search).

I am doing what Laars asked for and amassing volumes and volumes and volumes of documentation that Sean/Mike/Toby is a scammer. Please help me. Laars and Rentmen will eventually get the picture and either suspend the ads, or verify that Rentmen is not willing to use selfies for verification purposes. Either way I would like to get it settled that either Rentmen views this as a reasonable policy to detect scamming, or they don't.

Either these guys can verify their pictures with selfies, or they can't. It's that simple. My view is if they refuse to do it, given all the documentation provided about their scamming, including by people who say they hired them and the pics are fake, Rentmen needs to pull the ad

It's fair enough. I only found this forum because I saw the post for Sean Andrews on masseurfinder and decided to see what other people's experience was because I was always kind of fascinated by how this worked. I created an account so I could share my experiences.

I texted Sean/Mike/Toby two days ago and said I wanted to hire him in Chicago where he is now.

He responded yesterday and I told him I had texted several guys and could he send me a selfie to remind me who he was.

What I got back was two pictures: a face picture of "Toby" who I originally texted and a selfie of "Mike". The two pictures are clearly of 2 different people - one has a big tattoo in his chest, one doesn't.

I'm now in Mexico as of today for a week so I would have followed up with a call to him asking him to explain the discrepancy except I'm now outside the US.

I would encourage you to stay on this guy, call and text him, and report what happens here.

I now have some personal documentationon all 3 along with the treasure trove of stuff here that all point to the fact that this is a scam.

Bottom line is either Laars will agree to a selfie or video verification process, or he won't. I'm trying to build a more or less conclusive case that this guy or guys are scammers using fake pics and the only way to verify they are real or fake is through a policy of requiring real time selfie a and/or videos.
