i hate to ask a stupid question, but...before this ridiculous rb.com debacle there were always at least 250 or so bottom or versatile guys advertising in nyc. currently less than half of them are on rentmen, or so it seems to me. are they all just working with their pre-established clients? going to the townhouse? out of the business? i even asked one dancer at fairytale lounge recently if he escorted, and he got kind of offended. nyc used to be such a candy store (sigh).

At the holiday peak, there is usually 500 or more in nyc. Right before RB came down, I believe there was about 460 listed on RB, whereas rentmen at the same time had 150 advertisers. I believe those who really need the work have already migrated to rentmen.

He got kind of offended... LOL, maybe he's doesn't have the stomach to escort but he could make a lot more money with less effort if he was willing to do it. I know a local DC escort who dated a stripper from a bar called Secrets... the stripper was hooked on Aleve and other pain killers because of bending over to pick up a dollar, he was 25 and had the knees of a 40 years-0ld man after years of reaching for a buck and making maybe 100 per night.

Personally I think RentMen is the new RentBoy

I know of at least 3 reliable, super hot Nyc companions who are now just working from their client book while things simmer down from the RB debacle. To Cany's point, those who migrated to M4RN or RNTMN may just need to or just dont feel there is anything to worry about. I do miss window shopping, but for now, i'm sticking to my regular companions for a while unless i am really tempted by a new treat. Call me risk averse or boring

Many Rentboy advertisers who were not also advertising on Rentmen are now doing so. As regards 'versatile' escorts, they are usually the majority according to what employees at both sites have told me. Bottoms are always the minority -- according to Rentmen, bottoms have the toughest time finding a steady stream of clients... Again, that information comes from the site admins, but also correlates to my own experience browsing online.
