Perhaps I just failed to see postings to this effect, but where are our expressions of concern for the well-being of the guys -- many of which are our friends -- who were caught up in this event?

 

For those of us who know some of the named defendants, or for those of us who know of these people, now is NOT the time to try to cut out losses and get into crisis deflection mode.

 

(As for me, I have a paid membership on rentmen should the situation further devolve, I say: come at me, I am ready!)

Not quite sure I understand your posting, robber.... The complaint names individuals, not just a corporate entity. Perhaps you do not know any of the people explicitly named and under indictment but some/many of us do.

This pisses me off so badly. Doesn't the government have anything better to do? Why don't they go raid fucking Wall Street and round up some real criminals. I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Coco once and she's as dangerous as a housefly. My thoughts go out to her, her co-workers and all of the rentboys who have to keep looking over their shoulder until this blows over. Land of the free my ass - Welcome to facist Murika

In all seriousness, we are talking about the income of a lot of our friends who are escorts. Some use the income to supplement their regular pay which does not go far in some of the big cities; for others, it is their total income that is at stake.

 

Sad that the DHS has nothing better to do for years than something like this.

I do feel sorry for the workers who'd probably never have guessed they were the subject of a DHS investigation of all things. Sounds like ludicrous grandstanding. Awful.

 

Only caveat is if there were something truly sinister going on. But I don't see it.
