Hmmmm I WONDER is this is MY (and the boards) OLLLLLD friend scammer Scott Sloan back at work?? (whom I wreaped revenge on after scamming me by sending him on a 3hr wild goose chase some years ago lol) Can't tell by pix since he uses a bounty of fake ones and diff names) BUT the 411 is WAY similar, SAME hood where his apt was SAME M.O. SAME description of his building SAME smoke reeking apt SAME general appearance in reality etc. Would luv to know if shown a real pic, the reviewer would chime in?? PS I ALSO believe "Eddie" WAS the name his used first time he scammed me.

That's why I always wear my glasses when first meeting a guy. If he is on the up and up I then remove them saying, "Now, you wouldn't beat up on a guy wearing glasses? Would you..."

All kidding aside I would love to hear more about the 3 hour wild goose chase of which the OP speaks! Sounds like it would be a good story. The one time that I was really scammed my only revenge was to out the guy here. I should have submitted a review as well. That was over ten years ago and it has not happened since.

I was once able to have revenge on a vicious scammer about 8 years ago as well. I'm not proud of myself for stooping so low but it sure made me feel good! The revenge is way too lengthy to describe here but it involved missed appointments, fake addresses, and convoluted instructions on how to collect the money promised. which, of course, was never paid.

When it comes to escorts it's always going to be "caveat emptor" for us. But I got even with one who scammed me not once but TWICE in LA, fake photos of hot young guys diff names diff cell numbers. The first time he asked for his "donation" up front which should have been the give away but I was more trusting back then. That time he went out to his car to get his phone and duh never returned. The second time months later I went to HIS filthy apt in The Valley, and was shocked when I entered to see the same guy (hidden behind his door) as he closed it behind me. (he's a BB short but hugely built and probably pushing 45 poss older) And he was holding a metal nun chuck. (sic?) I was naturally scared since he was blocking the door and he made sure HE was behind ME as I entered. (these guys RARELY remember US btw) He demanded his donation right away which I reluctantly gave him. He couldn't run out obviously so his in- call thing is to just make YOU want to leave soon as he has his money. He tells you he won't do anything wont even take his shirt off and you can't touch him he has a skin condition then he just babbles about body building until you walk out. So a few months later I got even. I had a bud visiting from Europe who was leaving and still had a pre pay cell he'd bought for LA, and THERE on RB was his ad again, diff name diff cell BUT he'd stupidly gone back to the photos he was using the first time he got me. (I saved them just in case) SO I made an appmnt with him using the phone my bud had left (he gave the same BS line about ALL he does oral n kissing blah blah) and offered him and xtra 200$ to come to "my place" at the tip of MALIBU lol. (for anyone who doesn't know LA from his dump to there is like driving from NYC to Philly lol. (I used a real address in case he checked, but it was a construction site of a house being built on the ocean nothing but beams lol.) He called me TWICE on the way there lol, saying he was late the freeway was jammed, then again almost an HOUR later saying he was finally on Pacific Coast Highway the LONNNNG rd that runs along the coast into Malibu lol, both times I said NP just get here when you can I'm waiting lol. Almost another HOUR went by before that phone rang again, but now I stopped answering it lol. OH it felt SO GOOD! It rang at least 20X! It's childlish I know BUT SO gratifying lol!

We'd been emailing so I blocked his email address so I wouldn't get any nasty messages from him. The messages must have bounced as undeliverable because he made the effort to send me a nasty-gram from a brand new email. All that did was made me feel vindicated.

I am by nature NOT a vindictive or petty guy, BUT by this point I had discovered I was not one of several or one of a few, but one of DOZENS who'd been scammed by him on both coasts going back more than a decade. (I was not even the only one scammed TWICE by him as it turns out lol) So I REALLY felt like I was doing it for the team

*the addendum which I'd completely forgotten about until reading an above comment here was that I wasn't mature enough to just let it go, I ALSO sent him an email from a hastily created email via RB letting him KNOW WHY I had done it AND saying I would KEEP doing it and ALL the guys he'd scammed were doing the SAME and that he would NEVER know if a client was his "real" next potential victim OR one of us Then I deleted the addy.

Well the one time I was scammed I stupidly did not submit a negative review. Lesson learned. At the time I had been hiring for quite a while and while I had been submitting reviews I only lurked here. Then one day I read that a bunch of other guys here were scammed the exact same way that I was by this exact same bozo! Of course since I was only a lurker I could not respond. That made me get my butt in gear and I joined as at that point it was my only way to get revenge on the SOB. As far as my participation here since then, the rest is history...

 

Still, if it ever happens again and I need to get "creative" I'll know with whom to get in touch!!!!

Yeah I hired Scott waaaay back 20 years ago - my first hire. He was closer to his glory days but was s scammer even then. I was SUPER SPECIFIC and said did he have smooth chest because if not I had no interest. He showed up with like Persian bazaar owner amounts of hair. He tried to flex for me and ask how I could turn all that muscle down but I gave him $20 and said you lie to me, you loose. Fuck him, he's still trash.

This is the reason I keep pointing out the bad reviews and that most of his good reviews are from first timers for Owen-Brett (see today's reviews 8/21/15). It is very very frustrating to keep trying to let everyone know what a douche he is and then finding that he keeps trying to pass off, what I am fairly sure are fake reviews, to keep plying his scamming ways.
