He might be trolling the waters. He may want to visit Houston, but wants to see if his ad generates any interest or offers before he commits to go. Just a guess.

This guy has an ad in Houston. Said he is exploring what's going on and might visit. Seems like an expensive scam to run a rentboy ad if not legit. Anyone know him? Thoughts?

Based on what he said, he is researching a market to determine whether a visit would generate enough business to make the trip worthwhile. Sounds like a savvy businessman. Given he is not asking for pre-payment or a deposit, I see no evidence of a scam. Can you help me understand why you would think he is not legitimate?

Have seen a few other escorts do this in areas they kinda WANT to visit, but are unsure if they're going to do well in. Was confused when I saw a boston based guy who really didn't have a huge draw in New England...all of a sudden advertising in Singapore and Dubai. Probably wanted to go there; wanted to see if some big baller would pay for the flight? Fishing?

Tristan I was thinking fishing too! Hope you are healing well. Will look for you on your next Houston visit.

Healing is going decent, thanks Eric! Will be back to Dallas in October; unsure of next Houston dates...but it'll be in winter when I need to get the F--- out of New England! LOL

While I'm not fond of winter, I thought the 4 season climate was one of New England's selling points?

Lies lies lies! :D

Fall is beautiful. However:

Winter sucks shit in the worst possible way.

Spring is lovely but only about two weeks long. :(

June can be nice but July and August, high tourist season for Boston for example, are often as hot and muggy as the upper South. The Biggest Lie told to newcomers by old timers is: Oh, in New England you only need air conditioning for a couple of weeks each summer.

Yes, I know. I lived in Madison, Wisconsin for a little over three years. Winter was horrible. Strangely the year I moved away, it didn't actually snow until the week of Christmas.

The same lie is told about Madison, Wi too. It's more true there than NE. But I quite enjoyed my central a/c during the summers there. Someone once told me you didn't need a/c in Cincinnati also. I was young at the time and new to the area-and didn't really know the area. But I couldn't imagine not having a/c. And after living there, I knew the guy was cracked. Seattle gets hotter than Madison. I really miss it here. Washington state is the first place I've ever lived without it. :( It's horrible!!!

I remember reading somewhere that New Hampshire (or was it Vermont?) has two seasons, winter and 15 Aug.

Believe Mike, August starts very early in New Hampshire. Years ago I took a 10 day accelerated language class during the summer (End of June/Beginning of July) at Dartmouth (in New Hampshire). I stayed in an 'ancient' dorm on the Dartmouth Campus- obviously no A/C. And they didn't even have fans if I remember correctly except for the teachers. It was extremely hot.

Funny thing about the dorm I was in. It was so old the rooms had fireplaces. But there was a notice above the fireplace that as of a certain date (from 20 or 30 years before) the fireplaces were no longer to be used. Thinking of drunken male college students and open flames made me shiver and not in a good way.

Oh I know, I was up in NE for blizzard of 98.

Sounds like Chicago. Only, nobody ever bothers with the air conditioning canard. Everybody knows it is pointless.

The 4 seasons are a selling point? Winter- you have to shovel and spend $ to heat your house, Spring you have spend $ to replant your lawn, summer you have to spend $ to AC your house and fall you have to break your back doing leaves so the neighbors don't growl at you.

I'm sold. Totally.

FTL..well there's no winter, so no shoveling, Spring is gorgeous. Period...and no replanting the lawn because, remember it didn't snow. OK summer is a little rough, but electricity here is dirt cheap. Never had a bill over 200 dollars. And Fall is gorgeous also, snow birds are back and the joint is jumpin and no leaves because, well because palm trees don't make a mess. :D ...So y'all come on down, jump in, the waters 80 degrees and climbing.

Is that $200 per month? My latest electricity bill was a bit over $500, but these bills are quarterly here.

Yes that's monthly. Most my electric bills hover around the $120 range in the summer, and never more than $100 during the rest of the year, but keep in mind I run my AC 24/7 because of the humidity, but in the winter, we are free from heating costs. I have a friend in NJ and he gets killed in the winter time. In LA I was getting electric bills easily 4 times that amount.

I though that heading south in the fall would ease the pain, but I came back to those back breaking leave. Either that, or I would have had to pay someone to deal with them and that would have broken the bank. I also thought that being away in the winter would ease the pain, but you still have to heat the house and to make it look as though someone is living there so you need to pay for snow removal. Talk about really breaking the bank! Then when the oil company messed up on their delivery and the pipes almost froze... Well we won't go there...

I guess BVB has the right idea! And electricity is indeed cheep in FL. Here we Nutmeggers have the just about the highest electricity rates in the country. Damn you've got it made BVB!!! Did I ever say that I'm totally jealous of you! Well just kidding, but the only upside living up here in the summer is if one can hire a hot lawn boy and enjoy the eye candy. Unfortunately of the 5 guy crew that does my lawn there's not a looker in the group!

Hmmmmm. However, I do know a hot guy who lives somewhat nearby. Perhaps I need to pay a visit on lawn mowing day!!!!! ;) :D I'll supply the piña coladas!
