I've seen Mark (sotemark). VERY interactive, perhaps more than I would have liked. Nice guy, but not in the greatest shape and talks way too much - tried to analyze me and I just wanted to relax. I might repeat.

I was interested in hiring Mark (SoTe), but the conversation I had with him online turned me off. I decided to contact him through Adam4Adam a week before my trip to Chicago in March so that we could chat instead of exchanging emails. I waited until I knew exactly what my availability was before asking for specifics. He mentioned that he was in Oak Park and could not host but he could drive to my hotel in River North. I asked him how much it would be, and he said:

 

"160 therapeutic massage

That includes travel & parking fee

If you want something more sensual or erotic that's more"

 

When I asked him if the 160 rate was for one hour, this was his reply:

 

"I find guys want and trained talented therapist who understands the body AND can make you feel amazing and satisfied. I do both but I need to be compensated.

I hate when guys just expect a hand job or a fuck for free."

 

I had never mentioned anything more than a massage, though it was Adam4Adam. I apologized for wasting his time. Seeing the comments from @Jacque, @Capitano, and @JBrian72 confirms that I made the right decision. There are too many really good therapists in Chicago (see my post #54 in this thread) to pay rates like that to someone who thinks he is the only one.

I posted and gave credit to the wrong massuerfinder. I saw Kim this afternoon!

 

He was very very nice. I just left him bout an hour ago. GREAT massage. He told me what the technique was but i can't remember. But they are long firm pressure strokes for different muscle areas. , Used his forearms, fingers, fists and you can really tell he uses his body weight to help it along. I really enjoyed the massage. He checked in on me numerous times. Offered water, and his shower when the massage was finished. I declined the shower but it was nice he offered. MT was allowed.

Competent masseur, nice & good looking guy, but straight and suffering from the "Russian hang-up" :-(

 

While I could totally skip any "sensuality" involving the dreaded "now you can finish yourself off" and be fine with the massage, especially at his rate of $100 an hour, he doesn't get anywhere close to the glutes and hip flexors, so his massage would be a no repeat for me at any price :-( . Not sure whether he is just uptight about going there or afraid he'd set wrong expectations, it doesn't really matter. And yeah, he is not uptight about nudity but what's the point? There is simply no vibe, I'd prefer someone wearing a heavy parka but attacking these areas that are important to me.

 

PS The upside is that there are many straight Russian masseurs who charge $140-$160 an hour for the same crappy experience, so at least his rate is not that outrageous.

Couple recent chicago experiences I thought I'd share.

- Rate continues to be the best for a massage with HE. The massage is decent, but the ending was really memorable. Gave me something to think about during future j/o sessions. I do recommend this masseur highly.

 

Other masseur goes by Kyle. https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/guynexdoor.shtml

 

- So, let me preface my review by saying the guy is nice and actually has a great technique. That said, I made a little small talk very early just to break the ice and this guy took it and ran. He talked nonstop throughout the entire experience including....

-Mentioning his anxiety and that he has a therapist.

- Discussing his escort past

- Talking about his plans to write a book detailing some of his masseur experiences.

- Asking if I have single gay friends with a similar body type.

 

FFS guy. That is way too much unsolicited information--I just met you. Also, the ask about single friends was super uncomfortable. The cherry on top was that the mutual touch was really unexciting as he just wasn't "excited". Again, it's a shame because his massage technique is on point but his talking distracted him from the task at hand and I couldn't get a mental break. Really wanted this one to be a winner as his proximity to me is so close, but I cannot recommend this guy based on this experience.

I'll have to give Bigman a try, but I know what you mean about Kyle. I tried hima couple of years ago and had the same experience.

Hi. Does anyone know what happened to Mitch in Mchenry, used to have a website as Cleancuttone Therapy Services. Massage with a shower after. Been over a year, haven't heard from him.

Saw him recently on A4A. I had a few sessions with him a few years ago . Very interactive, but he told some tall tales and was more than a little creepy.

Thanks for update, Mitch was my first massage, he hasn't responded to text or fb messages in over a year, he had major back issues. I do miss him. I'll try A4A search.
