thanks so much! i'm going to contact felix and see what's what. i'll report back.

If it's only massage-even an "erotic" massage, $250 is a lot of money IMHO.

Google Image Searched some of Felix's images - came up with a Colombian dude's Instagram account, and also a few Backpage ads using a different name and phone number.

Said Instagram account is quite prolific, and features very recently taken pics (within the last 24 hours) of the guy that are tagged as being in Colombia.

My guess is that this Colombian dude's pics were stolen and the ad is a fake.

My last new policy when contacting an escort is asking for a verification communication using FaceTime or Skype. Most times they just stop responding.

Yes yes yes latbear4blk to FaceTime or Skype...easy and often very revealing, and if they stop responding, well that is revealing as well. ;)

There is no need to guess if the ad is fake. Given the search results on the photos, the ad cannot be legit.

The fakers (who place fake ads) go "fishing" for unsuspectinrg clients. Often, the fishermen (fakers) get lucky and snag a client.

The fakers continue to con money from clients who are too believing or are not suspicious of appealing fake ads.

Diligence is not always easy when it comes to some of the clever fake ads.

In the meantime, we do our best to uncover as many fake ads as possible.

But, for sure, fake ads are going to continue. That is just the way it is, like it or not.

Or if they won't Skype, a 'three-fingered' selfie will suffice.

If they balk at something as simple as that, I move on.

Most guys in LA look nothing nothing close to that though. These guys are easily 10's. Big red flag just on that alone.

Most suck in bed too but that's another story.

That is one way. I think I only did that once several years ago. I was taking Via Rail's Canadian train from Toronto to Vancouver. It's a 3-plus day trip. I took a chance a hired a guy I had never seen (Mark Gordon). He offered the Skype contact so I could get an actual look at him. I wasn't special in this respect. He offered Skype for verification in his ad to anyone. For never having met each other before-turns out he was a bit nervous about the trip too since he'd never met me-the trip turned out really well. I'll always be grateful to him.

But I don't know if you have to go as far as Skype, you could get him to take a picture holding up the date or something.

What's a three-fingered selfie? M

I've always had pretty good luck in my hiring. New guys can definitely be exciting. But if you are having that much trouble find non-scammers, I'd stick with the well-known guys we talk about here.

thanks everyone! just so you know: i texted felix twice and never heard back anything.

the advice about some kind of verification (skype, facetime, some kind of specific, immediate selfie) is so solid from everyone who's recommended it.
