I don't know what to call this; if it's misrepresenting oneself, a honest mistake, or just flat out lying but it is really starting to bother me, and hopefully an escort can help me out with this. Why do people put obviously false information in their online profiles? The key phrase being, 'OBVIOUSLY FALSE.'

 

I know why an escort who barebacks may say he's "safe play only" in a profile to get more clients. What baffles me is someone saying safe play only, posting bareback pics or videos in their profile... ?!? Why? Do you think you're getting away with something?

 

Or someone putting versatile as a sexual position, when they're not? This pisses me off the most because I'm always going to take "safe only" with a grain of salt. But as a total top myself, clicking through ad after ad of "Dom Top" is already annoying. So when I filter out tops and verse/tops, and STILL see ads stating "TOTAL TOP" or worse call, and get that over the phone, I want to break my computer!

 

While you may get more hits and contacts, you're not getting any more clients, cause at the end of the day, I won't hire you.

I had some guy ping me on Grindr a day or two ago. His profile said "wanted a bottom to breed", and I asked him if that meant bareback. He said yes, I said "Sorry, I only play safe", and he responded "I am safe". it went downhill for another couple of exchanges until I finally ignored him.

Deceptive I know, but when I see "safe only" which is what look for, I sometimes Email from a diff account first and ask about BB. Often the response says they will consider for more $$$. That's when I scratch them off. It's about 50/50 re ones like this, and ones who truly play safe only as they advertise and respond NO to my BB inquiry.

Maybe RB and other sites need another descriptor. "Safe only" may just mean he requires condoms when with a client. What he does on film is not relevant to this interpretation. Just like if a porn star / escort says "Top" in his ad he means that's what he does for clients though he maybe versatile in films.

I can understand wanting an escort who is always safe rather than just with clients, perhaps to reduce risks of disease. Maybe "Lives Safely"? Of course that will be hard to verify.

Oh I'm not talking about someone who does BB films, and put "safe only" in their ads. But someone who puts "safe only" in their ads, and all the photos and movies in their ads are clearly bareback and amateur. And people who advertise as "Versatile" but the moment you call them, the first thing the say is, "I only Top."
