Have you guys seen this show? It's amazing beyond belief as I've included a preview of the upcoming 3rd season which premiers on June 30th, 2015.

 

If you haven't been following the show from Season 1, order OWN, and watch it as this show is a jaw-dropping soap opera that's full of endless suspense, and surprises - not to mention some of the hot gay characters. Be sure to watch it as I can gaurentee you won't be sorry adding this to you're must see shows as every episode will have you on the edge of your seat.

I actually really got into the first season but, alas, I got behind in season two and need to catch up, which I hope to do sometime this summer! John Schneider, (Dukes of Hazard, Smallville) as the patriarch of the Cryer family is still very hot at 55 years old! His son Wyatt is played by Aaron O'Connell, a former model, and Jeffrey, the gay son of the other powerful family in the series, is played by Gavin Houston. Wyatt and Jeffrey grew up best friends and both actors are male pulchritude personified, the main reason I began watching this soap!!!

Crazy how all the guys in this soap opera are hot. Even John Schneider who plays the Cyer family patriarch(Jim Cyer). Damn he's still hot even til this day. Goes to show age is not a factor when it comes to beauty. If your hot, your hot. Young or old.

 

Aaron O'Connell as Wyatt(His son in the series) is just as hot as the dad. I think Wyatt and Jeffrey may at some point hook up as boyfriends - Well, that is if Wyatt manages to not go to prison. .

 

Jeffrey's father(David) played by Peter Parros is hot too. All of them are great eye candy.

 

Jeffrey's mother(Played by actress Angela Robinson, and who's in the sequence black dress in the beginning of the trailer of the season 3 preview) is beautiful as all hell. Too bad she's so evil and deranged in the end due to Jeffrey's homosexuality and romantic feelings towards Wyatt.

 

You gotta be sure to catch up with season 2 as you're up for a big surprise of the season finale.

Well Tyler Perry is certainly among the "Haves" The man does have good taste. I think it's a stunning piece of property.

I've never watched the show, but somebody has to be evil. Who could ever forget Alexis Colby on Dynasty, she became the reason to watch the show or tape it on VHS.

Thanks, JD, for putting me on to this show. The OWN network ran a marathon of the first half of season 2 all day Tuesday June 30th, and since I was already home sick, my butt was glued to the couch. I also enjoyed last night's new episode (although JD said it was the season 3 premiere, my Verizon Fios guide said it was just episode 13 of season 2, apparently after a midseason hiatus).

 

As everyone has pointed out, the men on this show are absolutely gorgeous, but the real stars are the sassy women around whom all the drama percolates. I've been a huge fan of the beautiful Tika Sumpter ever since she was on the now gone ABC soap One Life to Live. Glad to see her in a starring role here as a former escort, and now bad-ass diva Candace. It's rare to have a dark-skinned black woman be portrayed as the leading female sex symbol on any show or movie, so kudos to her and Tyler Perry on showcasing a diversity of beauty and attractiveness. This show is my new guilty pleasure.

It is very obvious that the actor who plays Landon is not gay. His tight lipped kisses when he was making out with Jeffrey were definitely a key indicator. You're making out with Gavin Houston get into it!!!

You said it, DC. Gavin is too fucking sexy. I'm sorry, but there has to be a law for having too many hot guys in one show. Tyler does know how to pick men who are stunningly gorgeous.

You are quite welcome, baby as I'm glad the show has brought you a great deal of pleasure as it did for me, and still does til this day. This show is highly intense, and is my guilty pleasure too. Not only are the guys on this show are hot as hell, but the women are just as beautiful, but dangerously kick-ass - especially Candace and Veronica(who I can't stand for hating her gay son), but both women are just lavishly beautiful to look at, and know how to play the hell out of they're roles in this show might well.

 

Anyone ready for next weeks episode????? You already got a dose of the first episode of the new season.

I haven't watched this show (I'm not even sure OWN is part of my cable package), but I have watched Fox's "Empire," co-created by Lee Daniels in part based on the homophobic abuse he received from his father, and wondered why it wasn't being discussed here. It has its soapy moments, its divas, particularly matriarch Cookie Lyons, and an out hip-hop artist as a main character. Most of the music -- all created for the show -- is pretty good as well.

Double-standard Benny. Yells at his mom for having a guy in her bedroom, yet he certainly didn't waste any time dropping his pants in his bedroom for Veronica. Then again, we got to see the hot Tyler Lepley shirtless!

It feels like there is a new set of writers this season. It just seems so much better and compelling. Veronica had a hot scene with Benny last night, but why didn't he take his shirt off?!
