SWOP LA at Pride - UPDATE!

Hi guys! I wanted to update you on Pride and let you know about the great weekend that this forum SINGLE HANDEDLY funded!

 

We had so much fun meeting people and educating people about sex workers and our needs. We filled about 10 pages (18 names/sheet) with current/former sex workers and allies that wanted to get more info about the organization.

 

I also reached a bunch of male escorts who will be signing up for and attending our next RentU class in LA on Escorting basics (rent-u.com)

 

We had a nicely decorated booth (which you can see on my Instagram- @itsdannycruz- or the one I set up for @swoplosangeles) and had some funds to get copies of information and little goodie bags filled with penis shaped candies and our contact info attached.

 

I also connected with so many more harm reduction groups who were ready and willing to offer help to our members.

 

I plan to be at Trans Pride this weekend in Hollywood. We won't have an official table, but I'll be taking my cards and some info and talking to folks there as well.

 

Again, I want to thank the members of this forum for their support both financially and with all the wells wishes our organization has received. You gentlemen are the best. ❤️
