I just received an e mail about this. Did I miss the thread about this on here or are there no riders from Daddy's this year. It seems that the ride is almost over and I am not sure why I received the e mail today. I guess it is never to late to donate.

David-SF is not riding this year. After seven or is it eight years he decided to take a break.

No one can fault him for that. I know it was a labor of love for him.

I did the ride from Minneapolis to Chicago years ago. I was never sacked (days you give up and the van brings you to camp) and my knees paid the price. Challenging and fun.

All 2500+ riders passed directly in front of my place {on the California coast} on Monday, June 1 while on their way to rest and ride and move onward for lunch. The Salinas Californian did a front page article the next day regarding this year's AIDS Life Cycle Ride. It also featured a 64 year old man who's been riding for a few years now! It made for a wonderful, enriching read!

And, as an aside, regarding David-SF. Last year he was the second highest fund raiser in Northern California. I was immensely proud of him and what he'd accomplished during the years that he'd contributed

by riding and raising money for this very, very necessary and special endeavor!

Lastly, after today, the riders have 2 more days to journey to their final destination {San Francisco to Los Angeles is some 500+ miles}. Today is 4 June 2015!!!!!
